Meudon
Meudon is a municipality in the southwestern suburbs of Paris, France. It is in the département of Hauts-de-Seine. It is located 9.1 km from the center of Paris.
Pont de Sèvres (Paris Métro)
Pont de Sèvres is a station of the Paris Métro Line 9, located near the pont de Sèvres, which is a bridge on the Seine connecting to Sèvres. The station opened on 3 February 1934 with the extension from Porte de Saint-Cloud station. The Musée de Sèvres station of Tramway Line 2, the Sèvres - Cité de la céramique (national ceramics museum) and the Parc de Saint-Cloud lie at the other end of the Pont de Sèvres.

Solar Observatory Tower Meudon is a 36.47 metre tall tower built of reinforced concrete on the area of Meudon Observatory in Meudon, France, which has in its interior a spectrograph for examination of the sun. Solar Observatory Tower Meudon was built in 1964-65, and is a solar tower, a type of solar telescope. It has a shaft diameter of 6.6 metres. In a height of 30.57 metres it has an observatory floor with 18.4 metre diameter.
Château de Bellevue, France
The Château de Bellevue was a small château built for Madame de Pompadour in 1750. It was constructed on a broad plateau in Meudon, above a slope overlooking the Seine to the east, but was demolished in 1823 and little remains. At the instigation of Louis XV, Charles François Paul Le Normant de Tournehem, directeur général of the Bâtiments du Roi, negotiated the purchase of the land from its various owners, located between Louis' châteaux at Meudon and Saint-Cloud.
Château de Meudon
The former Château de Meudon, on a hill in Meudon, about 4 kilometres south-west of Paris, occupied the terraced steeply sloping site. It was acquired by Louis XIV, who greatly expanded its as a residence for Louis, le Grand Dauphin. It was largely ignored under Louis XV and Louis XVI, but became the official residence of the King of Rome from 1812, and was occupied by Jérôme Bonaparte under the Second Empire.
Versailles rail accident
The Versailles rail accident occurred on 8 May 1842 in the cutting between Meudon and Bellevue stations on the railway between Versailles and Paris. Following King Louis Philippe I's celebrations at the Palace of Versailles, a train returning to Paris derailed at Meudon, after the leading locomotive broke an axle, and the carriages behind piled into it and caught fire.

Île Saint-Germain is an island located in the Seine in Issy-les-Moulineaux in the département of Hauts-de-Seine near Paris, France. It once housed a military camp that was later abandoned, but the island was redeveloped in 1980. The island is divided into two parts. The developed side includes offices and a residential area. Île Seguin
Île Seguin (Seguin Island) is an island on the Seine river between Boulogne-Billancourt and Sèvres, in the west suburbs of Paris, France. Île Seguin was home to a Renault factory, constructed between 1929 and 1934. With 30,000 laborers at its peak, the last car from the Renault production line was a Renault 5 Supercinq in 1992. The factory remained dormant until 2005 when all the buildings were demolished. Jean Nouvel, an architect, is leading a project to turn the island into a cultural hub.
