International School of Geneva
The International School of Geneva, also known as Ecolint, is a private international school based in Geneva, Switzerland. It is the oldest currently operating International School in the world. The International Baccalaureate (IB) programme, which most English-speaking students at the school follow, was created at the Grande Boissière campus. It is a bilingual school, with instruction in both French and English. Ecolint's current Director General is Mrs Vicky Tuck.
Villa Diodati
The Villa Diodati is a manor in Cologny close to Lake Geneva. It is most famous for having been the summer residence of Lord Byron, Mary Shelley, Percy Shelley, John Polidori and others in 1816, where the basis for the classical horror stories Frankenstein and The Vampyre was laid. Originally called the Villa Belle Rive, Byron named it the Villa Diodati after the family that owned it.
Bodmer Library
The Bibliotheca Bodmeriana (or Bodmer Library) is located in Cologny, Switzerland just outside Geneva. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance. The library was established by Martin Bodmer and is famous as the home of the Bodmer Papyri. Some of these papyri are among the oldest remaining copies of the New Testament. Some manuscripts are written in Greek, others in Coptic (e.g. Papyrus Bodmer III). The first of the manuscripts was purchased in 1956 (Papyrus Bodmer II — P).

Louis-Jeantet Prize for Medicine
The Louis-Jeantet Prize for Medicine is awarded annually (starting in 1986) by the Louis-Jeantet Foundation to biomedical researchers in Europe; the awards are made each April. The aim of the prize is both to honor its recipients and to finance their research.
Parc des Eaux Vives
The Parc des Eaux Vives has a surface of 45.000 m2 and is situated at the Quai Gustave-Ador in Geneva, right next at the Parc La Grange. It is a sloping hillside park topped by a historic mansion dating back to the 18th century, that now serves as a hotel and restaurant. The headquarters of the Geneva Sports Association is as well located in this park.
Téléphérique du Salève
The Téléphérique du Salève is a passenger cable car connecting Veyrier (just across the French border from Geneva) with the Saleve ridge. The cable car was inaugurated in 1932, replacing a now-disused rack railway (for which one of the tunnels can still be seen walking up). The base station in Veyrier (located a short walk from the border crossing) is at an altitude of 432m, with the top station at 1097m.
Menoge
The Menoge is a French river found in the Haute-Savoie department. Its source is near the Col des Moise, and flows into the Arve just before Annemasse, giving it a length of 29.8 km. Its tributaries are: Brevon de Saxel Le Foron de Fillinges, Ruisseau du Nantet (confluence at Vétraz-Montoux). Settlements along its length include: Habère-Poche, Habère-Lullin, Villard, Burdignin, Boëge, Saint-André-de-Boëge, Fillinges, Bonne, Arthaz-Pont-Notre-Dame, Cranves-Sales and Vetraz-Monthoux.
