Hanken is one of the oldest business schools in the Nordic countries. Hanken is a leading, internationally accredited university in the field of economics and business administration. The school was founded in 1909 under the name Högre Svenska Handelsläroverket and was given its current name in 1927.
Sibelius Academy
The Sibelius Academy is part of the University of the Arts Helsinki and a university-level music school which operates in Helsinki and Kuopio, Finland. It also has an adult education centre in Järvenpää and a training centre in Seinäjoki. The Academy is the only music university in Finland. It is among the biggest European music universities with roughly 1,700 enrolled students.
Kamppi
Kamppi is a neighbourhood in the centre of Helsinki, the capital of Finland. The name originally referred to a small area known as the "Kamppi field" (see below), but according to the current official designation, "Kamppi" encompasses a much larger area with a population of 10,000 in 2004. The heart of Kamppi is a part of the Central Business District.
Kamppi metro station
The Kamppi metro station is a station on the Helsinki Metro. In addition to serving the area around Kamppi in central Helsinki, the station is integrated with the Kamppi Center bus terminal and shopping complex. The station was opened on 1 March 1983, designed by Eero Hyvämäki, Jukka Karhunen, and Risto Parkkinen. It is located 1.2 kilometres from the Ruoholahti metro station, and 0.5 kilometres from the Central Railway Station.
Hietalahti, Helsinki
Hietalahti is an unofficial district in the city of Helsinki, Finland. Hietalahti is a southern district, bordering the seaside, situated between Ruoholahti in the west and Kamppi in the north. Main attractions in Hietalahti include Helsinki's most popular flea market, a luxurious hotel and a couple of seafood-themed restaurants. The Helsinki International Bible Center and a Hare Krishna organisation are also located in the Hietalahti-Ruoholahti area.
Kamppi Center
Kamppi Centre is a complex in the Kamppi district in the centre of Helsinki, designed by various architects, the main designer, however, being Juhani Pallasmaa. It is said to be Helsinki's new downtown commercial and residential centre. As a four-year construction project, it was the largest singular construction site in the history of Finland, involving the extensive and difficult redevelopment of the Kamppi district in downtown Helsinki.

Eurovision Song Contest 2007
The Eurovision Song Contest 2007 was the 52nd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It was won by first-time appearance as an independent country Serbia and was held at the Hartwall Areena in Helsinki, Finland from 10 May to 12 May. The host broadcaster was YLE. Finland earned the right to host the event after heavy metal band Lordi's victory at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006. It was the first time the Contest had been held in Finland.
Lasipalatsi
Lasipalatsi (Swedish: Glaspalatset; meaning literally "the Glass palace") is a functionalist office building designed in the 1930s, located on Mannerheimintie in the Kamppi district of Helsinki, Finland. Lasipalatsi is one of Helsinki's most notable functionalist buildings. An earlier building at the same location was the Turku barracks, which was destroyed in the Finnish Civil War in 1918.
Tennispalatsi
Tennispalatsi (Swedish: Tennispalatset; lit. Tennis Palace), is a cultural and recreational center in Kamppi, Helsinki, Finland. It houses a Finnkino movie theatre, the Art Museum Tennis Palace, the Museum of Cultures, and small shops. Tennispalatsi was built in 1938 in preparation for the 1940 Summer Olympics. The functionalist building, which had four tennis courts, was designed by Helge Lundström. In the 1952 Summer Olympics the basketball preliminary games were held in Tennispalatsi.

Finnish Parliament Annex
The Finnish Parliament Annex is a building in the centre of Helsinki, Finland. It houses offices for about one hundred members of the Parliament of Finland. The building was built in 2004 and the design comes from the winning entry of a design competition held from 1998 to 2000. The building was designed by the architect Pekka Helin and his team.
Tavastia Club
The Tavastia Club is a popular rock music club in Helsinki, Finland. The house is owned by Hämäläis-Osakunta, one of the student nations at the University of Helsinki, but since 1991 the club has been operated by a private enterprise renting the house from the nation. It is located in central Helsinki Kamppi district on the street Urho Kekkosen katu. The capacity is 700 people.
Temppeliaukio Church
Temppeliaukio Church is a Lutheran church in the Töölö neighborhood of Helsinki. The church was designed by architects and brothers Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen and opened in 1969. It is also known as the Church of the Rock. Plans for the Temppeliaukio/Tempelplatsen (Temple square) was started as early as the 1930's when a plot of land was selected for the building and a competition for the design was started. Natural History Museum of Helsinki
The Natural History Museum of Helsinki is an exhibition of the Finnish Museum of Natural History of the University of Helsinki. The museum is located in Etu-Töölö in central Helsinki. The museum building was originally established as a gymnasium for Russian students in 1913, and adopted by the University in 1923. The museum displays taxidermed animals, skeletons, remains of prehistoric animals, and minerals.
Helsinki Synagogue
Helsinki Synagogue (Helsingin synagoga in Finnish, Helsingfors synagoga in Swedish) in the city of Helsinki (Helsingfors) is one of the two synagogues in Finland. Located in the Kamppi (Kampen) district, the synagogue is used by the 1,200-strong Jewish community of Helsinki. The synagogue building, designed by the Viipuri-born architect Jac. Ahrenberg (1847-1914), was completed in 1906.
Deutsche Schule Helsinki
Deutsche Schule Helsinki (German for "German school Helsinki") is a German-speaking school located in Helsinki, the capital of Finland. The school was originally founded in 1881 through funding from the German consul Freiherr von Lanazan, wealthy German families and the Church of Germany. The school was originally held in various private apartments but now has its own facilities in Kamppi. The school is open for everyone with an interest in the German language.
Sähkötalo
Sähkötalo (lit. Electric Building) is the name of the building located in downtown Helsinki, in Kamppi, that serves as the headquarters of Helsingin Energia. The building was designed by Alvar Aalto. Construction on the building started in March, 1970, and was ready to be moved in on January 22, 1973. Since October 2007, the bottom floors of the building have been home to stores accessible from Kamppi Center by an underground pedestrian tunnel running underneath Fredrikinkatu.

Helsinki City Art Museum
Helsinki City Art Museum or Helsinki Art Museum is an art museum in Helsinki, Finland. It has exhibitions in two main locations: Meilahti Art Museum in Meilahti, near Tamminiemi, and the Tennis Palace Art Museum (Tennispalatsi) near the city centre. The museum also manages the Kluuvi Gallery.

Hämäläis-Osakunta
Hämäläis-Osakunta (HO, colloquially Hämis) is one of the 15 student nations at the University of Helsinki, Finnish-speaking and established in 1653 at The Royal Academy of Turku. In 1828, the Academy moved to Helsinki adopting the name university and Hämäläis-Osakunta moved there along with the other nations. HO represents the historic region of Tavastia, so it recruits its members actively there. The building of the nation, built in 1931, is located in Kamppi, on Urho Kekkosen katu.
Hietalahdentori
Hietalahdentori is a square in Hietalahti in Helsinki, Finland. The area is known for its popular flea market, which is open from May to September. During World War I it was used as a Russian horse barracks. The market began in 1906, and was known for a long time for its high quality food.
Kamppi Chapel
The Kamppi Chapel is a Lutheran chapel in Kamppi, Helsinki, located on the Narinkka Square. It is also known as the "Chapel of Silence" since it is intended to be a place to calm down and have a moment of silence in one of the busiest areas in Finland.
