Hakaniemi
Hakaniemi is an unofficial district of Helsinki, the Finnish capital. It is considered a part of the Helsinki city center. Historically, it was often associated with the working class and worker's associations. However, the cost of living has risen considerably in recent years and is now on par with the rest of the downtown area of Helsinki.
Kallio
Kallio is a district and a neighbourhood in Helsinki, the capital of Finland, located on the eastern side of the Helsinki peninsula about one kilometere north from the city centre. It is one of the most densely populated areas in Finland. Kallio is separated from the city centre by the Siltasaarensalmi strait, over which is a bridge called Pitkäsilta ("long bridge"). Traditionally, the bridge marks the symbolic divide between the bourgeois centre and the more working class areas around Kallio.
Hakaniemi metro station
Hakaniemi or Hagnäs is a station on the Helsinki Metro. It serves the central Helsinki districts of Hakaniemi and Kallio. The station was among the first metro stations opened in Helsinki, on 1 June 1982, and was designed by Mirja Castrén, Juhani Jauhiainen, and Marja Nuuttila. It is located 0.9 kilometres from the Kaisaniemi metro station, and 0.9 kilometres from the Sörnäinen metro station. The station is situated at a depth of 23 metres below ground level.
Sörnäinen metro station
Sörnäinen or Sörnäs is a station on the Helsinki Metro. It serves the central Helsinki districts of Sörnäinen and Kallio. When heading east, Sörnäinen is the last station that is actually underground - the eastern part of the metro service is mostly above ground (part of Vuosaari line is also underground) The station was opened on 1 September 1984, designed by Jouko Kontio and Seppo Kilpiä.
Vallila
Vallila is a neighbourhood in Helsinki, the capital of Finland. Vallila is a central-northern neighbourhood, bordered by Pasila to the west and Alppiharju to the south. Like Kallio, Vallila is mostly residential and has a reputation of being a working-class neighbourhood. In the past two decades people from artistic professions have found the area.
Alppila
Alppila is a quarter of Helsinki, Finland. It is located north of the city centre, between the districts of Kallio and Pasila, and together with Harju it forms the district of Alppiharju. Alppila has a population of 4244 (as of 2005) and an area of 0.60 km². The Linnanmäki amusement park is located in Alppila.
Vuoristorata
Vuoristorata is a roller coaster in the Finnish amusement park Linnanmäki. It opened on July 13, 1951 and was designed as a temporary attraction for the Linnanmäki park, opened in 1950. One of the main reasons for its construction was to attract tourists of the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki. Since then, its temporary status was renewed for extended periods, until eventually it was regarded as a permanent structure.
Theatre Academy Helsinki
The Theatre Academy is a specialized university located in Helsinki, Finland. It provides education in performing arts, including acting (in Finnish and in Swedish), directing, dramaturgy and script writing, dance, choreography, lighting design and sound design. The Theater Academy educates artists in two languages: Finnish and Swedish.

Kulttuuritalo (Finnish for The House of Culture) is a building in Alppila, Helsinki. The building was designed by Alvar Aalto, and is considered to be one of his main works.
Harju, Helsinki
Harju is a quarter of Helsinki, Finland. It is located northeast from the city centre, part of Alppiharju neighbourhood, between the quarters of Alppila, Torkkelinmäki, Linjat and neighbourhoods Sörnäinen and Vallila. Harju has a population of 7,237 (as of 1 January 2005) and an area of 0.27 km². Harju has the highest population density per km² in Finland, along with the neighboring Torkkelinmäki quarter. Apartments in Harju are usually very small, single-person flats.
Torkkelinmäki
Torkkelinmäki, Torkelsbacken is a central neighborhood of Kallio, Helsinki, Finland. Its boundaries are Hämeentie on the east, Helsinginkatu on the north, Kaarlenkatu on the west and Viides linja on the south. LIke elsewhere in Kallio, the area's apartments are small, for the most part consisting of one or two rooms.
Alppiharju
Alppiharju is a subdistrict of Helsinki, Finland. Alppiharju is divided into two neighborhoods Alppila and Harju, hence the name.
