Lake Bodom
Lake Bodom is a lake in Finland located on the suburbs of the city of Espoo, not far from Helsinki. The lake measures approximately three kilometers in length and one kilometer in width. The lake is notorious for murders that occurred in the early morning hours of June 5, 1960, when four teenagers (two boys, Nils Gustafsson and Seppo Boisman and two girls, Tuulikki Mäki and Irmeli Björklund) went on a camping trip to the lake and were mysteriously attacked while sleeping in their tent.

Lake Bodom murders
The Lake Bodom murders were an infamous multiple homicide that took place in Finland in 1960. Lake Bodom is a lake by the city of Espoo, about 22 kilometres west of the country's capital, Helsinki. In the early hours of June 5, 1960, four teenagers were camping on the shores of Lake Bodom. Between 4AM and 6AM, an unknown person or people murdered three of them with a knife and blunt instrument wounding the fourth.
Kauklahti
Kauklahti or Köklax (Swedish, alternative spelling Köklaks, old Finnish Kaukalaksi) is a district of Espoo, in the Greater Helsinki area of Finland. It is one of the oldest population centers in the city: it was already inhabited 4000 years BCE. Kauklahti is growing fast and in 2006 hosted The Finnish Housing Fair.
Espoon keskus
Espoon keskus is the central district of Espoo, the second biggest city of Finland and the administrative centre with the city hall of Espoo. The areas of Kiltakallio, Kirkkojärvi, Saarniraivio, Suna, Suvela and Tuomarila belong to Espoon keskus. To the east, Espoon keskus borders the city of Kauniainen, an enclave within the city of Espoo. Even though Espoon keskus is located at the approximate geographical centre of the city, it is not a major population or economic center.

Greater Espoonlahti (Suur-Espoonlahti) also includes Kaitaa, Latokaski, Nöykkiö, Saunalahti, Soukka, Iivisniemi and Suvisaaristo.

Espoo railway station
Espoo railway station is a railway station located in the district of Espoon keskus in the city of Espoo, Finland. It is located between the stations of Tuomarila and Kauklahti, about 20 kilometres from the Helsinki Central railway station. Espoo is the only station in Espoo city that also serves long-distance trains. It was built in 1903 according to plans by the architect Bruno Granholm. The station was expanded in 1909. The station building has many ornamental details.

Kauklahti railway station is a station on the Helsinki commuter rail network located in Espoo, Finland. The station serves the S, U, E and night train L lines between Central Helsinki and Kirkkonummi, and is between the stations of Mankki and Espoo Central. The station has three platforms, one for trains towards Kirkkonummi, one towards Espoo and Helsinki, and one for the line E.
Tuomarila railway station
Tuomarila or Domsby is a station on the VR commuter rail network located in Espoo, Finland. The station serves the E commuter line from Helsinki to Espoo Central; and the S, U and night train L lines between Helsinki and Kirkkonummi. The station is located between Koivuhovi and Espoo Central. It is approximately nineteen kilometres from central Helsinki. The station has two platforms, and was opened in 1931.
Koivuhovi railway station
Koivuhovi or Björkgård is a station on the VR commuter rail network located between the stations of Kauniainen and Tuomarila. The station serves the E commuter line from Helsinki to Espoo Centre; and the S, U and night train L lines between Helsinki and Kirkkonummi. The station is approximately 17 kilometres from central Helsinki. The station has two platforms, and was opened in its current form in 1997.
Mankki railway station
Mankki railway station is a station on the VR commuter rail network located in Espoo, Finland, between the stations of Kauklahti and Luoma. The station has two tracks, with track one serving trains towards Kirkkonummi and the other towards Helsinki & the pier that is towards Helsinki has a very rare wooden pier. Mankki is the least used Station in the Espoo area, which is only 60-100 Passengers per day.
Espoo Cathedral
The Espoo Cathedral is a medieval stone church in Espoo, Finland and the seat of the Diocese of Espoo of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland. The cathedral is located in the district of Espoon keskus, near the Espoonjoki river. The oldest parts of the church were completed in the 1480s and it is thus the oldest preserved building in the city. The church became a cathedral in 2004 after the Diocese of Espoo was split off from the Diocese of Helsinki.
Kaitaa
Kaitaa or Kaitans is a district of southern Espoo, Finland, located south of the Länsiväylä highway, with a population of 6000. Kaitaa mostly consists of detached houses, and contains the Hannusjärvi recreational area. There as been a preservation attempt in May 1998 to save the future of the lake. In the southern part of the district is the Iivisniemi apartment building area. Espoo plans high buildings along the coast-line.

FM- and TV-mast Helsinki-Espoo
FM- and TV-mast Helsinki-Espoo is a mast located on Harmaakallio hill near Latokaski, Espoo, Finland. Its current height is 326 metres . When the mast was first built in 1971, its height was 303 metres. Its height was increased to 326 metres in 1988, when the station was expanded. At that time the present mast was erected. It is the third highest structure in Finland, after the Tiirismaa, and Haapavesi radio and TV masts. The radio mast in Kiiminki has the same height.
Peltos whistle-stop
Peltos whistle-stop was a railway halt in Espoo, Finland midway between Espoo railway station & Kauklahti railway station, about 1.8 km from each. Peltos halt was opened on 2 January 1931. The whistle-stop was planned to be abolished in 1978 but due a local small hospital and the wishes of a few locals it remained. The Peltos halt was very rarely used as the area is in a field and has very few houses near it.
