Víkarbyrgi
Víkarbyrgi is a former village on the Faroese island of Suðuroy, Faroe Islands. It no longer has a population. It retains a postal code (FO 928) and is located at N 61° 26' 34 W 6° 43' 28. The etymology of its name is reputed to be connected with an early settlement of Irish monks who predated the arrival of the Vikings. The last inhabitants had left Víkarbyrgi by 2003.

Lopra is a village on the island of Suðuroy in the Faroe Islands, with the postal code FO 926. In 2009 its population was 96. It is located in the Municipality of Sumba along with the villages Akrar, Sumba and Víkarbyrgi, constituting the southernmost settlements in the Faroe Islands. The name Lopra may have its origin in the gaelic word "lobar" which translates into English as leprosy, and Lopra may be a pre-Norse settlement of Gaelic hermits from c.6th to c.8th AD.

Nes is a village on the Faroese island of Suðuroy located in the municipality of Vágur (Vágs kommuna). It is located west of Porkeri and east of Vágur. Its postal code is FO 925. It should not be confused with another village by the same name on Eysturoy. There is another village in Suðuroy with the same name, it is located on the southern side of the bay of Hvalba. Nes means cape in the Faroese language.
Porkeri Church
Porkeri Church is a church in the settlement of Porkeri in the Faroe Islands. Porkeri is situated in the island Suðuroy, which is the southernmost of the islands. It is a wooden church and it has a roof of turf. The church is from 1847 and contains things donated by seamen who survived lethal storms on the sea, maintaining the tradition of almissu (seamen in danger promised - according to Nordic tradition - to donate churches, the material or such to God if they got back home alive).
Vágsfjørður
Vágsfjørður is a fjord on the island of Suðuroy in the Faroe Islands. The fjord is located in the southern part and on the eastern side of the island. The distance between the east and the west coast of Suðuroy is very short from Vágsfjørður to Vágseiði. Between the fjord and Vágseiði is a lake which is called Vatnið (The Lake). There are five villages around the fjord. In the bottom of the fjord is Vágur, which is one of the largest village in Suðuroy.
