Aarhus
Aarhus or Århus is the second-largest city in Denmark. The principal port of Denmark, Aarhus is on the east side of the peninsula of Jutland in the geographical center of Denmark. Aarhus is the seat of the council of Aarhus municipality with 319,094 inhabitants and 252,213 (1 January 2013) in the inner urban area. According to Aarhus municipality, the "Greater Aarhus" area has a population of about 1.25 million people. The city claims the unofficial title "Capital of Jutland".

Aarhus Municipality

Aarhus Theatre
The Aarhus Theatre (Aarhus Teater) in Aarhus is the largest provincial theatre in Denmark. The present theatre house constructed in the late 19th century as a replacement for the old theatre, nicknamed "Svedekassen". Since Aarhus had grown to be Jutland's biggest city during the 19th century, the old theatre had become too small for the public. The new building was designed by the Danish architect Hack Kampmann (1856–1920), and the construction began on 12 August 1898.
Lystrup
Lystrup is one of the smaller suburbs of Aarhus (the second largest city in Denmark), and is located 10 km. north of the city centre. It has a population of 10,563 (1 January 2011), and is the seventh most populous suburb of Aarhus.
Hjortshøj
Hjortshøj is a small town inside of Århus Municipality, Denmark, with a population of 2,876 (1 January 2011). Hjortshøj has a limited infrastructure including a primary school, a post office (in the local Brugsen), a bank and other ancillary businesses. Hjortshøj Church is a typical Danish white church building dating back to 1100 CE; rebuilt in 1492. It also has its own soccer team called Virup IF.

The Viking Museum is a museum located beneath the Nordea bank building in central Aarhus, Denmark. Aarhus School of Architecture

Egå Engsø
Egå Engsø is an artificial lake and wetland site located in the north of the town of Århus between Vejlby, Risskov and Lystrup. It is bordered by the Djursland motorway to the north and the Århus-Grenaa railway and the municipal heating pipes from Studstrup Power Station to the south and east. It was created by re-flooding meadows on land previously drained in the 1950s for agricultural use.
