Bogotá
Bogotá, Distrito Capital, from 1991 to 2000 called Santafé de Bogotá, is the capital, and largest city, of Colombia. It is also designated by the national constitution as the capital of the department of Cundinamarca, though the city of Bogotá now comprises an independent capital district and no longer belongs administratively to that department. Bogotá is the most populous city in the country, with 7,363,782 inhabitants as of 2010.

Torre Colpatria
Torre Colpatria (Colpatria Tower) is a 50-storey skyscraper located at the downtown area in Bogotá, Colombia. It is the tallest building in the country and the second in South America. It was constructed from 1978 until 1979, and has a total height of 196 metres . The main headquarters of Colpatria Bank are located in the building, and also a great number of other banks and financial corporations have offices in it.
1980 Dominican Embassy siege in Bogotá
The Dominican Embassy siege was the 1980 siege of the embassy of the Dominican Republic by M-19 guerrillas in Bogotá, Colombia. The guerrillas held nearly 60 people, including 14 ambassadors, hostage for 61 days.

Caracol Radio
Caracol Radio (Cadena Radial Colombiana, "Colombian Radio Network") is one of the main radio networks in Colombia. Founded in Medellín in 1948 when La Voz de Antioquia station acquired the 50% of Emisoras Nuevo Mundo, based in Bogotá. Julio Mario Santo Domingo was its main shareholder until 2004, when Spanish Grupo Prisa bought the Grupo Latino de Radio, whose 17% was Santo Domingo's.
Bolívar Square
The Bolívar Square is located in the heart of the historical area of Bogotá. It has a statue of Simón Bolívar sculpted in 1846 by the Italian Pietro Tenerani, which was the first ever public monument in the city. Plaza Bolívar is also the name given to the main square in every city or town of Venezuela, the native country of Simón Bolívar. On the Northern side of the square is the Palace of Justice, a big modern building where the Supreme Court works.
Primary Cathedral of Bogotá
The Archbishopric Cathedral of Bogotá is a Roman Catholic cathedral located at the eastern side of Bolívar Square in Bogotá, D.C. , Colombia. It is seat of the Archbishop of Bogotá, Cardinal Mon. Pedro Rubiano Saenz. The Cathedral was built between 1807 and 1823. When the Spanish conquerors officially founded the city of Bogotá, they established in 12 huts and a hay-church, that -after being totally built- would take the name of Archbishopric Cathedral of Bogotá.

The Casa de Moneda de Colombia (Spanish for Colombian mint) is a Colombian currency museum based in the city of Bogotá, Cundinamarca. It was founded in 1621 as the mint ("casa de moneda" translates as "mint"). The current mint is known simply as the Fábrica de Moneda (coin factory).
Santamaría Bullring
Santamaría Bullring (Plaza de Toros de Santamaría, in original Spanish) is a bullring in Bogotá, Colombia and it is currently used for bullfighting, although it has also been used for concerts and other cultural activities. The stadium holds 14,500 people and was built in 1931. This bullring is more commonly known as the Plaza de Toros Santamaría. Outside this bullring there is a statue honoring Pepe Cáceres, the famous Colombian torero.

The Bank of the Republic (Spanish: Banco de la República) is the state-run central bank of the Republic of Colombia. Its main functions are detailed by the Congress according to the Ley 31 de 1992. One of them is the issuance of the Colombian currency, the peso. The bank is also active in promoting financial inclusion policy and is a leading member of the Alliance for Financial Inclusion.

Radioacktiva is a Colombian radio station broadcasting from Bogotá. It is owned by Caracol Radio, part of the Spanish media organization Grupo PRISA.
