China Agricultural University
China Agricultural University is a university in Beijing, People's Republic of China specializing in agriculture, biology, engineering, veterinary medicine, economics, management, humanities and social science. It was formed in 1995 through the merger of the Beijing Agricultural University and the Beijing Agricultural Engineering University. At present there are more than 13,000 undergraduate and 6,000 graduate students studying in the university.

The China Agricultural University Gymnasium is an indoor arena located on the campus of the China Agricultural University in Beijing. It hosted the wrestling events of the 2008 Summer Olympics. The Gymnasium's rooftop has a staggered, stair-like design. It covers an area of 23,950 square metres and has a capacity of 8,200 which will be reduced to 6000. It will also be turned into a sports complex for students of the China Agricultural University after the Olympic Games.

Athletes Alley
Athletes Alley is a sculpture conceived by the Belgian artist Olivier Strebelle (born 1927) and was scheduled to be produced at the occasion of the Beijing Olympic Games of 2008, although it was not completed in time. It was meant as a gift from Belgium to the city of Beijing. It opened shortly after the games ended, having cost over 5 million euros.

The Beijing Olympic Village is a complex of high-rise apartments in Beijing, People's Republic of China, which was opened to the public on July 26, 2008 in conjunction with the 2008 Summer Olympics. As an Olympic Village it hosted the attendees, which included competitors and their coaches, during the event.
National Zoological Museum of China
The National Zoological Museum of China is located on the campus of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing in the Chaoyang District. It is the largest zoological museum in China. It has three floors of exhibits that surround a central exhibit area that contains a large hanging whale skeleton. The exhibits consists largely of mounted bird, mammal, and insects. The butterfly collection is quite large in particular.
