Olympic Green
The Olympic Green (北京奧林匹克公園) is an Olympic Park in Chaoyang District, Beijing, China constructed for the 2008 Summer Olympics. Since then, the streets around the park have been used for an exhibition street race of the FIA GT1 World Championship in 2011, after a race at Goldenport Park Circuit in the vicinity.

The Olympic Green Convention Center or National Convention Center is a new convention center located in the Olympic Green in Beijing. It was designed by RMJM and was used for the 2008 Summer Olympics. It covers an area of 270,000 square metres. It is one of the principal buildings of the Olympic Green. The convention centre served as the competition spot for fencing, and the shooting and fencing parts of the modern pentathlon events. The International Broadcast Centre was located in this venue.

National Zoological Museum of China
The National Zoological Museum of China is located on the campus of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing in the Chaoyang District. It is the largest zoological museum in China. It has three floors of exhibits that surround a central exhibit area that contains a large hanging whale skeleton. The exhibits consists largely of mounted bird, mammal, and insects. The butterfly collection is quite large in particular.
Olympic Forest Park
Beijing's Olympic Forest Park is a large, man-made nature park at the north-end of the Olympic Green. It was built the for 2008 Beijing Olympics games. The park is oval in shape and features lake Wa Biancun in the center. The north side of the lake has a mountain that gives an excellent view of this part of the city. The park was designed by Hu Jie. The park features many walking paths and a jogging path. Several small islands in the lake are linked by bridges.
