Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos

The Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos is the national stadium of Chile, and is located in the Ñuñoa district of Santiago). It is the largest stadium in Chile with an official capacity of 47,000 and it is part of a 62 ha sporting complex which also features tennis courts, an aquatics center, a modern gymnasium, a velodrome, a BMX circuit, and an assistant ground/warmup athletics track. Construction began in February 1937 and the stadium was inaugurated on December 3, 1938.

Estadio Monumental David Arellano

The Estadio Monumental is a football stadium in Macul, south-east of the centre of the Chilean capital Santiago. It serves as the home ground of Colo-Colo, and on occasions also for other clubs and the national football team. The stadium has a current spectator capacity of 47,000. The actual playing field is named after David Arellano, the legendary founder of Colo-Colo, therefore, on occasions the whole stadium is referred to as Estadio Monumental David Arellano.

The stadium was built in 1986 and rebuilt in 2008. The stadium also hosts a variety of events such as summer theatre festivals and music concerts, such as the KISS concert in early 2009. The other elevated bridges carry three one-way lanes each of Vespucio Sur. The latter ones currently pass under the aforementioned viaducts, as does a canal called Zanjón de la Aguada.
