Saskatoon is a city in central Saskatchewan, Canada, on the South Saskatchewan River. Residents of the city of Saskatoon are called Saskatonians. The city is surrounded by the Rural Municipality of Corman Park No. 344. The 2011 Census, had the city population as 222,189, and the census metropolitan area population as 260,600, making it the largest city in Saskatchewan.

Senator Sid Buckwold Bridge

The Senator Sid Buckwold Bridge is a bridge that spans the South Saskatchewan River between west and east shore in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. It was built in 1966, on the same site as the original Qu'Appelle, Long Lake and Saskatchewan bridge. The bridge is part of the Idylwyld Freeway, for which the former CNR Bridge was torn down. The act of dynamiting the original piers of the CNR Bridge became something of a spectacle as demolition experts were unable to completely destroy them.

Caswell Hill is a district in the Canadian city of Saskatoon. It derives its name from an early homesteader Robert Caswell one of the Temperance Colonists of 1883. Hudson Bay Park, Saskatoon

Hudson Bay Park is geographically located in north west Saskatoon just south of Circle Drive along 33rd Street and Avenue P North. It is mainly characterized by single detached homes along with apartments that are less than five stories in height. Idylwyld Drive

Idylwyld Drive is an arterial road in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It is one of the main roads in and out of the downtown area of the city. On the south side of the Senator Sid Buckwold Bridge, it is a freeway and is known as the Idylwyld Freeway. It eventually turns into Circle Drive, just east of Prairieland Park. At its north end the road divides into two highways, Highway 11 and Highway 12.

Landa Residence

The Landa Residence (built in between 1911-1913) is a designated Municipal Heritage Property located in the Riversdale, neighborhood of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Thomas E. Heath, Saskatoon's Early Fire Chief lived in the home from 1913-1915. In 1921, the house became the family residence of William and Fanny Landa, the first Jewish family to settle in Saskatoon.

Adilman's Department Store

The Adilman's Department Store Building (built in 1912, expanded in 1921 and renovated in 1949) is a historic building in the Riversdale district of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Adilman's Department Store was a cornerstone of the 20th Street shopping district from its opening in 1921 until it closed in 1974. The Adilman family operated the department store from 1921 until Jack Adilman's retirement in 1974. It is one of Saskatoon's remaining examples of Streamline Moderne architecture.
