David Florida Laboratory
The David Florida Laboratory is the Canadian Space Agency's spacecraft assembly, integration and testing centre, in Shirleys Bay, just west of Ottawa. Pinecrest Station
Pinecrest Station is a Transitway station in Ottawa, Ontario, that began service on September 6, 2009. The name is due to the station's close proximity to Pinecrest Road. On June 9, 2006, Then-Ottawa Mayor Bob Chiarelli announced an extension of the West Transitway that include a 1.8 kilometre stretch of transitway from Bayshore Station to Pinecrest Road including the new station and located near the road previously served as a regular stop for westbound buses such as route 96 and route 101.

Michele Heights is a small neighbourhood located in Ottawa, Ontario. Located in the west end of the city, it is bounded by Bayshore Drive in the west, the Ottawa River to the north, Pinecrest Road to the east and Richmond Road to the south. The neighborhood, along with nearby Britannia, Bayshore, Fairfield Heights, Lincoln Heights and Foster Farm is known to have one of the highest crime rates in the city due notably of the presence of some gang groups.
Bay Ward
Bay Ward is a municipal ward in Ottawa, Canada. It covers much of the western portion of the old city of Ottawa as well as some portions of what was once Nepean. The ward runs from Sherbourne and Maitland in the east to March Road in the west. The southern border in the Queensway while the northern border is the Ottawa River. The ward makes up the northern portion of the federal and provincial riding of Ottawa West-Nepean.

The Aylmer District (District 1) is a municipal district in the city of Gatineau, Quebec. It is represented on Gatineau City Council by Frank Thérien. The district is located in the Aylmer sector of the city. It is one of three districts in the sector. The district includes the neighbourhoods of Wychwood, Parc-Aylmer, Downtown Aylmer, Les Cêdres and McLeod. For the 2009 election, it gained the neighbourhood of Queen's Park and some of the downtown.

Connaught Park Racetrack
Connaught Park, later known as Hippodrome d'Aylmer, was a thoroughbred, steeplechase and harness racing track, later having a casino and live betting parlor, located in the Aylmer, Quebec district of Gatineau, Quebec, Canada, near Ottawa, Ontario, Canada from 1913 until 2009. It had two tracks: a one-mile dirt track used until 1954 for thoroughbred racing, and a half-mile dirt track, used for harness racing. Racing ended in 2008 after its ownership declared bankruptcy.

Woodpark, Ottawa
Woodpark is a small neighbourhood in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is bounded in the north by Richmond Road, to the East by Woodroffe Avenue north, in the South by Carling Avenue and in the West by the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway. It is largely residential with commercial only on Carling Avenue. There is only one small park, New Orchard Park, within its boundaries, but both the Parkway and part of the Byron Strip are adjacent to it. It has no schools or churches.
Lac Deschênes
Lac Deschênes is a 27-mile long lake on the Ottawa River that runs from the Chats Falls hydro dam near Fitzroy Harbour in the west to the Deschênes Rapids in the east. It is a little over two miles wide at its widest point and little more than a few hundred yards at its narrowest. The provincial border between Ontario and Quebec runs through the length of the lake with the City of Ottawa on its southern shore and the city of Gatineau on much of its northern shore.
David Hartin
David Hartin was born in 1824. He married Sarah Malcomsom (1827–1904), daughter of Robert Malcomson, and together they had seven children - Charles (1854–1914), Robert (1856–1883), Gilbert (1858-), David (1865–1914), William Henry (1861–1948), Catherine (1862–1924), and Margaret Ann (1867–1932). David Hartin died 23 November 1893 and was buried in the Carp Road Presbyterian Cemetery, Huntley Township.
Drummond Methodist Church
The Drummond Methodist Church was constructed in 1898 on what is now known as Robertson Road, using some of the stone from the demolished Union Church on Richmond Road. In 1925 it became the United Church and was used until 1962 when the new United Church was completed. Today the building houses "The Spa". It is one of the oldest buildings in Bells Corners.
Britannia Yacht Club
The Britannia Yacht Club (BYC) is a private social club, yacht club and tennis club based in Britannia Ottawa, Ontario. It was founded in 1887 by a group of cottagers. The members have contributed to the sports of yachting and tennis. The non profit corporation is celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2012. The main entrance is on Cassels at Bradford Street. BYC is located on an extension of land at the eastern end of Lac Deschênes near the Deschênes Rapids on the Ottawa River.
