Lake Saint-Louis
Lake Saint-Louis, or in French Lac Saint-Louis, is a lake in southwestern Quebec, Canada, adjoining the Island of Montreal at the confluence of the Saint Lawrence and Ottawa Rivers. The lake is bounded to the north and east by the Island of Montreal. Additionally, it is bounded by the Regional County Municipalities of Beauharnois-Salaberry, Roussillon, and Vaudreuil-Soulanges. The town of Beauharnois with its power-dam and canal lie to the south.
West Island
The West Island (in French, l'Ouest de l'île) is the unofficial name given to the cities, towns and boroughs at the western end of the Island of Montreal, in Quebec, Canada. It is generally considered to consist of the cities of Dorval, Pointe-Claire, Kirkland, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Beaconsfield, Baie-D'Urfé, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, the village of Senneville, and two boroughs of the city of Montreal: Pierrefonds-Roxboro and L'Île-Bizard–Sainte-Geneviève.
Kahnawake
The Kahnawake Mohawk Territory is a reserve of the traditionally Iroquoian-speaking Mohawk nation on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River in Quebec, Canada, across from Montreal. Recorded by French Canadians in 1719 as a Jesuit mission, it has also been known as Seigneury Sault du St. Louis, Caughnawaga and 17 European spelling variations of the Mohawk Kahnawake. Kahnawake's territory totals an area of 48.05 square kilometres.
Dorval–L'Île-Dorval
Dorval–L'Île-Dorval was a former borough in the West Island area of Montreal, Quebec. It was composed of the former municipalities of Dorval and L'Île-Dorval. The municipalities were merged into the city of Montreal by the provincial government on January 1, 2002. On June 20, 2004, both Dorval and L'Île-Dorval voted to return to being independent municipalities. This took effect January 1, 2006, dissolving the borough.

CINF was a French language Canadian radio station located in Montreal, Quebec. Owned and operated by Corus Quebec, it broadcasted on 690 kHz with a power of 50,000 watts as a clear channel (class A) station, using a slightly directional antenna solely for the purpose of improving reception in downtown Montreal. The station had carried an all-news format since December 1999, identifying itself as "Info 690".

The Fur Trade at Lachine National Historic Site (Lieu historique national de la Commerce-de-la-Fourrure-à-Lachine) is a historic building located in the borough of Lachine in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, at the western end of the Lachine Canal. It is a National Historic Site of Canada. Beginning in the 17th century, voyageurs would launch their canoes from this location to transport trade goods thousands of miles into the interior of North America lands.

Dorval is an intermodal bus and commuter rail station in Dorval, Quebec, Canada. The AMT station and the VIA rail station are within walking distance of each other. The station is on the Vaudreuil-Hudson Line of the Agence métropolitaine de transport (AMT) the umbrella organization that plans, integrates, and coordinates public transportation services in the Greater Montreal, Quebec, Canada area. Dorval is in Fare Zone 2, and this station currently has 402 parking spaces.
Chateauguay River
The Chateauguay River has its source in northern New York State in the United States. It winds its way through several towns and villages in Quebec, Canada, such as Huntingdon, Dewittville, Ormstown and Châteauguay, before emptying into the Saint Lawrence River near Montreal. The river is home to many species of birds and fish and is a major stopping-point for migrating ducks and Canada Geese.
Jardins Dorval
Les Jardins Dorval (called Dorval Gardens in English) is one of the oldest shopping centres in Quebec. It is situated in the Montreal suburb of Dorval, Quebec, and located on Dorval Avenue near Autoroute 20. It was built in 1954 by the Ivanhoe Corporation which remained its owner and manager until 2001.
Lachine massacre
The Lachine massacre, part of the Beaver Wars, occurred when 1,500 Mohawk warriors attacked by surprise the small, 375 inhabitant, settlement of Lachine, New France at the upper end of Montreal Island on the morning of August 5, 1689. The attack was precipitated by growing Iroquois dissatisfaction with the increased French incursions into their territory, and was encouraged by the settlers of New England as a way to leverage power against New France.
Dorval (VIA)
Dorval is a Via Rail station in the city of Dorval, Quebec, Canada. It is adjacent to the Dorval AMT station which is operated by commuter train agency AMT, although the stations do not share any platforms. The two stations are within walking distance of each other. It is a stop for all trains on two Via Rail lines out of Montreal. A shuttle bus, known as "Air Connect", links the station to Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport and is free of charge to Via Rail passengers.
Chateauguay Valley
The Chateauguay Valley is an area of southwestern Quebec Canada, roughly encompassing the drainage basin of the Chateauguay River which flows from the Adirondack Mountains in northern New York state and joins the Saint Lawrence River near Montreal, Quebec. The Valley is mainly made up of rural communities and is known for its agriculture and apple orchards. It includes the area roughly stretching from Dundee and Huntingdon in the west to Hemmingford in the east and north to Châteauguay.
