Montmorency (Montreal Metro)
Montmorency is a station on the Orange Line of the Montreal Metro rapid transit system, operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM). It is located in the Laval-des-Rapides district of Laval, Quebec, Canada. The station is part of an extension to the line to Laval and opened on April 28, 2007, becoming the northern terminus of the Orange Line. With the addition of the new metro stations, the Montreal Metro system now generates an extra 60,000 daily passengers.

It comprises two main neighbourhoods, Ahuntsic, a former village annexed to Montreal in 1910 and Cartierville, a town annexed to Montreal in 1916. Ahuntsic-Cartierville is located in the north end of Montreal, on the banks of the Rivière des Prairies.

The Armenian-Canadian school has around 700 students, excluding the children in the nearby, closely affiliated pre-school. Actually there are two bridges, side by side and parallel: The older (1930) three lane span, on the down stream side, carries the traffic north into Laval. The newer (1975) three lane span, on the up stream side, carries the traffic south into Montreal.
Belmont Park, Montreal
Belmont Park was an amusement park that operated between 1923 and 1983 in the Montreal neighborhood of Cartierville in Quebec, Canada. Located on the banks of Riviere des Prairies, Belmont Park was best known for its wooden roller coaster, the Cyclone, but at one time or another had a Philadelphia Toboggan Company carousel, Ferris wheel, picnic grounds, dance hall, swimming pool, roller skating rink plus numerous other rides for adults and a "Kiddieland.

Terminus Le Carrefour, an AMT bus terminus across boulevard Le Carrefour from the Carrefour Laval at the corner of Terry Fox Avenue. It is located one block west of Autoroute 15. A Radisson Hotel is located between Terry Fox Avenue and the Autoroute, a Hilton Hotel and a Sheraton Hotel are nearby. 226 park and ride spaces are available south of the terminus.

Laval was a former provincial electoral district in the province of Quebec, Canada. It was located in the Laval region north of Montreal, but for some of its history it also included parts of Montreal itself. It was created for the 1867 election (and an electoral district of that name existed earlier in the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Canada). Its final election was in 1976. It disappeared in the 1981 election and its successor electoral district was Laval-des-Rapides.

It carries 7 lanes of Quebec Autoroute 13, including one reversible lane at the center. That lane is an example of a permanent zipper lane. The bridge was named after Canadian aviator Louis Bisson.

Saint-Martin, Laval, Quebec
Saint-Martin is a former municipality, now part of the Chomedey neighbourhood of the city of Laval, Quebec, Canada, corresponding roughly to the Roman Catholic parish of Saint-Martin. The parish church, Église Saint-Martin, is located at 4080, boulevard Saint-Martin. The city of Laval operates Parc Saint-Martin, a public park at 4025, rue Gaboury. Saint-Martin, a commuter railway station that no longer exists, was also located here.
2000 Boulevard du Souvenir overpass collapse
On June 18, 2000, the southern portion of the Boulevard du Souvenir overpass in Laval, which crosses Quebec Autoroute 15, collapsed into the roadway, killing one and injuring two when cars were crushed underneath the structure. Sixteen beams weighing about 70 tons each fell. The highway was closed for several days while workers removed the debris. The remains of the structure were later demolished as well for safety reasons according to then–Quebec Transport Minister Guy Chevrette.
Malcolm Campbell High School
Malcolm Campbell High School was a high school in Montreal operated by the Protestant School Board of Greater Montreal and named after Malcolm A. Campbell, a Presbyterian minister who served as chairman of the school board for many years. It opened around 1961. The board voted in December 1986 to close the school. The building is now occupied by L'École Arménienne Sourp Hagop, a private school.
Place Bell (Laval, Quebec)
The Place Bell is a proposed multipurpose sports facility in Laval, Quebec. Planned for completion in 2014, it will include a 10,000 seat main arena and two smaller ice rinks. Laval's mayor, Gilles Vaillancourt, announced the project on February 13, 2012. The facility will be managed by Evenko, the same company that operates the Bell Centre in Montreal, home of the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League.
