Rivière des Prairies
The Rivière des Prairies (literally River of the Prairies, sometimes called the The Back River in English) is a delta channel of the Ottawa River in southwestern Quebec, Canada. The Amerindians who originally inhabited the Island of Montreal called it Skowanoti, meaning “River behind the island”. Flowing west to east, it bisects the Hochelaga Archipelago and rises in the Lac des Deux-Montagnes.

De La Concorde is an commuter train station in Laval, Quebec, on the Blainville-Saint-Jerome Line of the Agence métropolitaine de transport (AMT), the umbrella organization that plans, integrates, and coordinates public transportation services in the Greater Montreal, Quebec, Canada area. The station was relocated here in 2007 from the Saint-Martin station, which had been 1.65 km to the north, in order to be intermodal with the new metro station of the Société de transport de Montréal (STM).
De la Concorde overpass collapse
The De la Concorde overpass collapse occurred at a bridge over Quebec Autoroute 19 near Montreal, Quebec, Canada, at midday on September 30, 2006. On that Saturday, around 12:30 pm, the center section of the south lane of an overpass collapsed in Laval, a suburb of Montreal, on Boulevard de la Concorde running over Autoroute 19. The collapsed section crushed two vehicles under it, killing five people and seriously injuring six others who went over the edge while travelling on the overpass.
Pont Viau
Pont Viau (Viau Bridge), also called Ahuntsic Bridge (1930, rebuilt 1962 and widened 1993) . This bridge spans the Rivière des Prairies between the Montreal borough of Ahuntsic-Cartierville and the Laval neighbourhood of Pont-Viau. It is part of Route 335. About 36 000 motorists each weekday cross the bridge.

This bridge is used by freight trains of the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR), the Chemins de Fer Québec-Gatineau (CFQG) and by the Blainville-Saint-Jerome Line suburban trains of the Agence métropolitaine de transport (Metropolitan Transportation Agency).

Ahuntsic was a former provincial electoral district in Quebec, Canada, which elected members to the National Assembly of Quebec (known as the Legislative Assembly of Quebec until December 1968). It was located in and around the Ahuntsic district of Montreal. It was created for the 1966 election from parts of the now-defunct Laval district. Its final election was in 1970. It disappeared in the 1973 election and its successor electoral districts were Crémazie and L'Acadie.

Saint-Martin (AMT)
Saint-Martin was a railway station on the Blainville-Saint-Jerome Line (AMT). The station was one of the original four stations of the temporary Blainville line opened in 1997 to serve commuters during the construction on the Marius Dufresne Bridge. The station was closed in April 2007 with the opening of the Montreal Metro in Laval, due to its proximity to the De La Concorde station, 1.65 km south. The station was located at Boulevard Saint Martin. This station had 190 parking spaces.

Papineau-Leblanc Bridge
The Papineau-Leblanc Bridge was one of the first cable-stayed spans in North America, but it never was the world-longest span of this type (at that moment it was Rheinkniebrücke in Düsseldorf). It was fabricated from weathering steel and has an orthotropic deck.

Terminus Henri-Bourassa Nord is located at 10765, rue Lajeunesse north of Henri Bourassa Blvd in Montreal just south of the Viau bridge. Terminus Henri-Bourassa Sud is located at 590 Henri Bourassa Boulevard East next to the Henri-Bourassa Metro station.
Bordeaux Prison
The Bordeaux Prison (French: Prison de Bordeaux), is a provincial prison in Montreal, Quebec, Canada It is located at 800 Gouin Boulevard West in the borough of Ahuntsic-Cartierville. The prison was built in 1908 to 1912 by architect Jean-Omer Marchand to replace the aged Pied-du-Courant Prison. The prison currently houses male inmates sentenced to less than two years' imprisonment. It also houses prisoners awaiting trial.
