Algonquin College
Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology is a publicly funded English-language college and member of Polytechnics Canada located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The college serves the National Capital Region and the outlying areas of Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec. The college has three campuses; a primary campus located in West Ottawa, and secondary campuses located in Perth, Ontario, and Pembroke, Ontario.
Baseline Station
Baseline Transitway Station is directly across from the main campus of Algonquin College in Ottawa's west end, off of Woodroffe Avenue and Baseline Road. Many Algonquin students and Centrepointe residents use this terminal to get to various points in the city, and of course, to get to the College. Several residential and business areas such as Centrepointe and College Square are also served by this important station.
CKDJ-FM
CKDJ-FM is a Canadian radio station. It is the campus radio station of Ottawa's Algonquin College and broadcasts on 107.9 FM. The station was launched in 1972 as a closed circuit outlet using the call letters CBRT (College Broadcasting Radio Television). At the time, the radio and television broadcasting programs at the college were one unit, though they were later split into two completely separate entities.

Laurentian High School
Laurentian High School is a former Ottawa high school. It was located on Baseline Rd. at the corner of Clyde, in the city's West End. The school opened in 1958. It was built at the same time as Rideau High School and Ridgemont High School and has the same base design.
Merivale Mall
The Merivale Mall is a medium-sized shopping centre located on Merivale Road in the south-west of Ottawa, Ontario owned by Darton Properties. During the 1970s and 1980s, Merivale Mall was anchored by the two story Woolco store at the south end, and by A&P at the north. When Wal-Mart bought Woolco's operations in 1994, the Merivale Mall store was closed as opposed to being converted to a Wal-Mart as some others were.

Emerald Plaza is a small shopping centre with an office tower on Merivale Road. It replaced Minto's warehouse operations site in 1985. The ground floor is retail space, including a Chinese buffet, a TD Canada Trust bank, a branch of the Nepean Library, and a Super Pet, among many others. The office tower is Federal Government offices. The property borders on the Meadowlands shopping centre and includes underground parking.
Central Park, Ottawa
Central Park is the name of a neighbourhood in west Ottawa, Canada. It is bounded on the east by Merivale Road, on the south by Baseline Road, on the west by Clyde Avenue and on the north by the Carlington neighbourhood. The population of the neighbourhood is 3,403 in an area of 0.91 km. It more than doubled its population between the 2001 and 2006 censuses as the neighbourhood expanded. The neighbourhood is fairly new, having been built in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Skyline is the name of a neighbourhood in the Nepean sector of Ottawa, Canada. It is bounded on the south by Meadowlands Drive of Parkwood Hills, on the west by Clyde Avenue and Merivale Road, on the north by Baseline Road and on the east by the neighbourhood of Fisher Heights. Most of the houses were built from the early 1950's to early 1960's. In the 1970's a 12-storey high rise was built as well as some town houses on Eleanor Drive which is owned by Minto Developments Inc..

Legacy Skatepark
Legacy Skatepark is a public skatepark located in Ottawa, Canada. It is the largest skatepark of the city, covering 18,300 square feet. It is located south of Baseline Road and Woodroffe Avenue in the suburb of Nepean. The park is fully public and unmonitored, meaning padding or payment is not required to use the park. The skatepark's community is highly active and devoted; skaters organize an annual snow removal of the park towards winter's end.
