The 48th Highlanders of Canada is a Canadian Forces Primary Reserve infantry regiment based in Toronto, parading out of Moss Park Armoury. The Queen's Own Rifles of Canada is a Primary Reserve regiment of the Canadian Forces, based in Toronto, Ontario. The regiment is part of Land Force Central Area's 32 Canadian Brigade Group. The 7th Toronto Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery is a militia (i.e. part-time reserves) regiment of Land Force Central Area's 32 Canadian Brigade Group, The regiment was formed in 1965 when all the gunner units within the Toronto garrison (29th Field Regiment, 42nd Medium Regiment and 1st Locating Regiment) were merged. Bank of Upper Canada Building

The Bank of Upper Canada Building, built by John Ewart (architect), is one of the oldest financial service buildings in Toronto, Canada. Built in 1827-34, it housed the Bank of Upper Canada until the bank's collapse in 1866. It is located at 252 Adelaide Street East. It has been designated a National Historic Site of Canada since 1977. The building was abandoned, later used as a meat processing plant, then damaged by a fire. It was also home to a Catholic boys school, and De LaSalle Institute.

Walnut Hall was a row of four Georgian-style terraced homes in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Constructed in 1856, it was recognized by both the Government of Canada and the City of Toronto as being of historic significance, but portions of it collapsed and it had to be demolished in 2007 due to neglect.
