Leaside
Leaside is a neighbourhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The area takes its name from William Lea and the Lea family, who settled there in the early years of the nineteenth century. The area first developed as farmland along with Toronto through the nineteenth century. It was incorporated as a town in 1913. In 1967 it was amalgamated with the township of East York to form the borough of East York. In 1998 it became part of the city of Toronto.
Moore Park, Toronto
Moore Park is a neighbourhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It lies along both sides of St. Clair Avenue East between the Vale of Avoca section of Rosedale ravine and Moore Park ravine (formerly Spring Valley ravine). The northern boundary is Mount Pleasant Cemetery and the southern the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks. Moore Park is one of Toronto's most affluent neighbourhoods. The neighbourhood takes its name from its developer, John T. Moore.
Leaside Aerodrome
Leaside Aerodrome was an airport in the Town of Leaside, Ontario (now a neighbourhood of Toronto). It opened in 1917 as a Royal Flying Corps airfield during the First World War. Unlike nearby Armour Heights Field, the airfield was not abandoned at the end of the war, but was acquired for use by the Toronto Flying Club.

Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery
Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery at 305 Erskine Avenue in Toronto, Ontario, Canada was consecrated on July 9, 1898 by Roman Catholic Archbishop John Walsh. The first burial occurred on March 27, 1900. By the end of the 20th Century, the cemetery was full, holding the remains of more than 76,000 persons. However, the cemetery plans to convert several roads for use as graves and to build a columbarium for those cremated.
Leaside High School
Leaside High School is a school of between 900 and 1000 pupils in central-east Toronto at the corner of Eglinton and Bayview Avenues. Established in 1945, the school is part of the Leaside community of East York. The school has science, computer science and classics programs. Leaside currently features a highly touted French Immersion program. Feeder schools for Leaside High School include Bessborough Public School and Northlea Public School.
Leaside Curling Club
Leaside Curling Club is a curling club located in the Leaside neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The club was founded in 1963 in response to community requests for a neighbourhood curling club. The city owns the building and the Parks and Recreation Department provides support with the management and maintenance of the facility. The club has its own member-elected Board of Directors which manages all aspects of the operation of the club in partnership with the City.
