Bronte is the community that makes up much of the west end of Oakville, in Ontario, Canada. Twelve Mile Creek (known informally as Bronte Creek) flows through the middle of town and empties into Lake Ontario. Bronte Creek Provincial Park

Bronte Creek Provincial Park is located in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, and is part of the Ontario Parks system. Bronte Creek

Bronte Creek is a waterway in the Lake Ontario watershed of Ontario Canada. It runs through Hamilton and Halton Region, with its source near Morriston (south of the intersection of Highway 6 and Highway 401), passing Bronte Creek Provincial Park, on its way to Lake Ontario at Bronte Harbour in Oakville, where the creek is also known as Twelve Mile Creek. It was previously known to the Mississauga Indians as Esqui-sink, Eshkwessing or ishkwessin (that which lies at the end).

Oakville Refinery (Petro-Canada)

The Oakville Refinery (also known as Petro Canada Oakville Refinery) was a refinery located on the border of Oakville and Burlington in Ontario, Canada. The refinery was commissioned in 1958 by Cities Service Company. It had an initial capacity 25,000 barrels per day . In 1963, the refinery was acquired by BP. Later it was acquired by Petro-Canada and supplied fuel in Ontario. It closed in 2005, with Petro-Canada getting supplies for the Ontario market from its Montreal Refinery.
