Carleton Station

Carleton O-Train Station is located at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario. Carleton is currently the only O-Train station with separate tracks and platforms for each direction, in order to allow the two trains working the otherwise single-track line at any given time to pass. The schedule is timed such that the southbound train arrives first and moves onto the platform siding, and then proceeds once the northbound train has entered the station.

The Dominion Observatory was an astronomical observatory in Ottawa, Canada that operated from 1902 to 1970. The Observatory was also an institution within the Canadian Federal Government. The observatory grew out of the Department of the Interior's need for the precise coordinates and timekeeping that at that time could only come from an observatory. For several years they had used a small observatory on the Ottawa River for this purpose.

Carlington contains less than 435 older pre-1945 homes, primarily along Fisher Avenue. Some 2000 dwellings were built from 1945 to 1960.

Prince of Wales on the Rideau is an upscale neighbourhood of 210 homes in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is located on a peninsula between the Rideau River and Prince of Wales Drive, on the west shore of Mooney's Bay. Prior to its development in 2006/2007, the land was part of the Moffat Farm. The Moffat family donated their land to the city for a park service, but the city changed it to residential zoning, making it one of the most controversial new homes projects in Ottawa in recent times.
