Canadian Security Intelligence Service

The Canadian Security Intelligence Service is Canada's primary national intelligence service. It is responsible for collecting, analyzing, reporting and disseminating intelligence on threats to Canada's national security, and conducting operations, covert and overt, within Canada and abroad. Its headquarters is located in Ottawa, Ontario, in a purpose-built facility completed in 1995.

Gloucester, Ontario

Gloucester is a suburb of and within the City of Ottawa. Gloucester Township was established in 1792 and originally included lands east of the Rideau River from the Ottawa River south to Manotick. It was incorporated as a township in 1850 and became a city in 1981. Gloucester was one of the 11 municipalities that merged in 2001 to form the new city of Ottawa. As of the Canada 2011 Census, the former city of Gloucester had a population of 123,678.

Blair Station

Blair Station is a station on Ottawa's transitway located at Blair Road and Regional Road 174. It is the eastern terminal for several weekday trips of route 96 and crosstown route 12 (formerly route 2). Route 94 also joins the transitway at this station coming from Blair Road. It is also a major transfer point for commuters within urban Gloucester.

Gloucester Township, Ontario

Gloucester Township is a historical township in Eastern Ontario, Canada. Originally known as Township B, it was established in 1792. In 1800, it was part of Russell County, but became part of Carleton County in 1838 and was incorporated as a township in 1850. The first settler in the township was Braddish Billings in what is now the Billings Bridge area of Ottawa. Over the years, parts of Gloucester Township were annexed by the expanding city of Ottawa.

Earl Armstrong Arena

The Earl Armstrong Arena is primarily used as an ice hockey arena and is home to the Gloucester Rangers Jr. A team. The Skate Canada Hall of Fame is the sports hall of fame for figure skating in Canada. It was established in 1990. The members are inducted into one of four categories that best represents the inductee's contributions to skating in Canada: athletes, coaches, builders, and officials.
