Prestes Maia
The Prestes Maia, was the largest squatted highrise building on the South American continent. Originally, 468 families, united through the Downtown Roofless Movement (Movimento Sem Teto do Centro or MSTC) of São Paulo, lived in the 22-storey highrise since 2002. The building had been closed and left in a rundown condition for years, serving as shelter for rats and cockroaches.
Museum of the Portuguese Language
The Museum of the Portuguese Language is an interactive Portuguese language — and Linguistics/Language Development in general — museum in São Paulo, Brazil. It is housed in the Estação da Luz railway station, in the urban district of the same name.
Andraus Building
The Andraus Building is a well-known building in the city centre of São Paulo, Brazil which is located in Republic district, on the corner of avenida São João with rua Pedro Américo. It is 115 metres tall and has 32 floors, and its construction ended in 1962. On February 24, 1972, the building suffered a great fire which caused the deaths of 16 persons trapped inside the building. 330 others were also injured.
Edifício Itália
Edifício Itália (Portuguese for "Italy Building") is a 168 metre tall 46 story skyscraper in São Paulo, Brazil, built from 1956 to 1965. It hosts the Circolo Italiano foundation and Terraço Italia restaurant in its 44th floor. It also has a rooftop observation deck, open for tourists. Edifício Itália was designed by German-Brazilian architect Franz Heep. It is the 2nd tallest building in São Paulo after Mirante do Vale.
Luz Station
The Luz Station is the common name for a railway station in the Luz neighbourhood in São Paulo, Brazil. The station is part of the metropolitan rail system ran by the CPTM. The station is mostly notable for housing the Museum of the Portuguese Language, established in 2006. The Luz Metro station is also located within the complex.
Sala São Paulo
The Julio Prestes Cultural Center, which is located in the Julio Prestes Train Station in the old north central section of the city of São Paulo, Brazil, was inaugurated on July 9, 1999. The building has been totally restored and renovated by the São Paulo State Government, as part of the downtown revitalization in that city. It houses the Sala São Paulo, which has a capacity of 1498 seats and is the home of the São Paulo State Symphonic Orchestra.

Bom Retiro is a central district in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. It is a mainly commercial place, as the industrial and residential areas are greatly decreasing. The district is served by Line 1 (Blue) of the São Paulo Metro and by the lines 7 (Ruby), 10 (Turquoise), and 11 (Coral) of the CPTM. There is also a planned station for Line 4 (Yellow) of the São Paulo Metro.
Theatro Municipal (São Paulo)
Municipal Theatre of São Paulo is a theatre in São Paulo, Brazil. It is regarded as one of the landmarks of the city, significant both for its architectural value as well as for its historical importance, having been the venue for the Week of Modern Art in 1922, which revolutionised the arts in Brazil. The building now houses the São Paulo Municipal Symphonic Orchestra, the Coral Lírico (Lyric Choir) and the City Ballet of São Paulo.
Jardim da Luz
Jardim da Luz is a public space, characterized as a public park or as a small park, with approximately 20 thousand square meters situated in Avenida Tiradentes, Bom Retiro, in the city of São Paulo. The park is near the Luz station, the Museu de Arte Sacra de São Paulo, and the Historic Department of the City Hall of the municipality. In Jardim da Luz, the headquarters of the Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo is found.
Edifício Copan
The Edifício Copan (Copan Building) is a 140-metre, 38-story residential building in São Paulo, Brazil. Construction began in 1957 and, following some interruptions, was completed in 1966. It is one of the largest buildings in Brazil and has the largest floor area of any residential building in the world.
Ponte Pequena
Ponte Pequena (Little Bridge in English) is a district in the borough of Bom Retiro in São Paulo, Brazil. Its located in between the northern area and the central area of São Paulo. The district is attended by the Armênia-line 1 (Blue) of the São Paulo Metro. It's not a residential neighborhood and its mainly an access district that connects the northern area with the central area of São Paulo.
Matarazzo Building
Matarazzo Building (Edifício Matarazzo in Portuguese, also known as Palácio do Anhangabaú is the cityhall of the city of São Paulo, Brazil. It belonged to Banespa until 2004, when it was sold to the city government. It was designed by Italian architect Marcello Piacentini under the will of Ermelino Matarazzo, in order to host the headquarters of his industries.
Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo
The Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo is one of the most important art museums in Brazil. It is housed in a 1900 building in Jardim da Luz, Downtown São Paulo, projected by Ramos de Azevedo and Domiziano Rossi to be the headquarters of the Lyceum of Arts and Crafts. It's the oldest art museum in São Paulo, founded on December 24, 1905, and established as a state museum since 1911.
Tiradentes (São Paulo Metro)
Tiradentes is a station on Line 1 (Blue) of the São Paulo Metro. It's placed nearby ESCOLA TÉCNICA ESTADUAL DE SÃO PAULO, or ETESP (São Paulo's State Technical School), near access to the ROTA headquarters and for the Tiradentes Avenue. It has two accesses toward it.
