Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Brussels
The National Basilica of the Sacred Heart (French: Basilique Nationale du Sacré-Cœur, Dutch: Nationale Basiliek van het Heilig-Hart) is a Roman Catholic Minor Basilica and parish church in Brussels. The church was dedicated to the Sacred Heart, inspired by the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur in Paris. Symbolically King Leopold II laid the first stone of the basilica in 1905 during the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of Belgian independence.
Catholic University of Brussels
The Katholieke Universiteit Brussel is a Flemish university located in Brussels, founded in 1969 as University Faculties St Aloysius (UFSAL), in many ways the equivalent of a liberal arts college. Teaching was primarily in Dutch. It became a university in the early 1990s. It only ever awarded basic undergraduate degrees, which in the older Belgian system of a four-year licenciate meant students had to go on to other universities to complete their courses of study.

It is the home of Belgian Second Division club FC Molenbeek Brussels Strombeek since the 2003 merger between R White Daring Molenbeek and KFC Strombeek. Prior to this it has been the home of R White Daring Molenbeek and of R Daring Club de Bruxelles.

Simonis metro station
The Simonis Metro Station is a station on the Brussels Metro serving lines 2 and 6 via two different levels called Elisabeth and Leopold II. It opened on 6 October 1982 and is situated at the end of Boulevard Léopold II. It is close to Elizabeth Park and the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. The station was named after the Belgian architect Eugène Simonis. Since December 2009, it is also served by NMBS/SNCB local rail services on line 28.

Beekkant metro station
Beekkant Metro Station on the west-side the Brussels is served by lines 1, 2, 5 & 6 of the Brussels Metro. The station is located in the borough of Sint-Jans-Molenbeek, running parallel to a railway used for freight trains and in 2010 again as suburban railway line of the future Brussels RER. It opened on 8 May 1981. Beekkant station was for a year, until October 1982, the western terminus of the Brussels Metro line 1.

Jette railway station
The Jette railway station is a railway station in the municipality of Jette in Brussels, Belgium opened in 1892. The station is located south of the King Baudouin park on the Cardinal Mercier square, on the Belgian railway line 50 between the Bockstael and Berchem-Sainte-Agathe railway stations. Nearby the railway station is the Jette station STIB/MIVB stop, which offers a connection with the Brussels tram route 19 as well as the bus routes 53 and 88.
Dieleghem Abbey
Dieleghem Abbey is an abbey in Jette, northwestern Brussels, Belgium. It was founded in 1095 by the Bishop of Cambrai and administered by Augustinian canons. In 1140, the abbey’s monks switched to the rules of the Premonstratensian order. In the 13th century, the abbey now called Dieleghem possessed half of the commune’s territory and played an important social and economic role until the French Revolution.
