International Atomic Energy Agency
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is an international organization that seeks to promote the peaceful use of nuclear energy, and to inhibit its use for any military purpose, including nuclear weapons. The IAEA was established as an autonomous organization on 29 July 1957. Leopoldstadt
Leopoldstadt is the 2nd municipal District of Vienna. There are inhabitants (as of 2012-01-01) over 19.27 km . It is situated in the heart of the city and, together with Brigittenau (20th district), forms a large island surrounded by the Danube Canal and, to the north, the Danube. It is named after Leopold I, Holy Roman Emperor. Due to its relatively high percentage of Jewish inhabitants (38.5 per cent in 1923, i.e. before the Holocaust), Leopoldstadt gained the nickname Mazzesinsel.

The University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna was founded in 1767 as the world's third school for veterinary medicine by Milan's Ludovico Scotti, originally named k. k. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is a United Nations office that was established in 1997 as the Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention by combining the United Nations International Drug Control Program (UNDCP) and the Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Division in the United Nations Office at Vienna. It is a member of the United Nations Development Group and was renamed the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in 2002.
Ernst-Happel-Stadion
The Ernst Happel Stadium (Praterstadion until 1992, sometimes also called Wiener Stadion) in Leopoldstadt, the 2nd district of Austria's capital Vienna, is the largest stadium in Austria. It was built between 1929 and 1931 for the second Workers' Olympiad to the design of German architect Otto Ernst Schweizer. The stadium was renamed in honour of Ernst Happel following his death in 1992.
Donauinsel
The Donauinsel is a long, narrow island, in central Vienna, Austria, between the Danube river and the parallel excavated channel Neue Donau. The island is 21.1 km (13.1 mi) in length, but is only 70–210 metres (230–690 ft) broad. The New Danube waterway is practically an elongated (swimming) lake, technically a diluvian bed.

Donaustadt (literally, Danube City) is the 22nd district of Vienna, Austria (German: 22. Bezirk, Donaustadt). Donaustadt is the eastern fourth of Vienna.
Vienna International School
The Vienna International School is a non-profit international school, located in Vienna, Austria. The school was built to accommodate the children of United Nations (UN) employees and diplomats when the UN decided to locate one of its offices in Vienna, and it remains affiliated to the UN. About 50% of students are children of UN employees and receive education grants, while much of the remaining students are children mainly of embassy staff and company staff.
Aspern
Aspern is part of Donaustadt, the 22nd district of Vienna. In 1904, the formerly independent village was incorporated into Vienna as part of the 21st district, Floridsdorf. Only in 1946 did it become part of the newly created 22nd district, Donaustadt. The area is known because of the Battle of Aspern-Essling, which was fought in the nearby Lobau on May 21 and May 22, 1809.
Church of Donaufeld
Saint Leopold's Church (German: Kirche zum Heiligen Leopold, "Donaufelder Kirche") is the Roman Catholic parish church of Donaufeld in Floridsdorf, the 21st district of Vienna, Austria. Located at Kinzerplatz, it stands at a height of 96 m (315 feet), which makes it the third tallest church in Vienna. Construction was completed in 1914. Earlier plans to use the church as a cathedral for a new diocese east of the Danube were abandoned when Floridsdorf was merged into Vienna in 1904.
Aida (café)
Aida (sometimes spelled Aïda, with a diaeresis) is a chain of 26 espresso bar and pastry shops in Vienna, Austria. They have a devoted clientele, for whom Aida has achieved near-cult status. Business hours are from early in the morning until the early evening; the shops are open every day of the year with the exception of Christmas Day. Ten Aida shops had been established before the Second World War, but they were all destroyed during the air raids on Vienna.
Vienna International Centre
The Vienna International Centre (VIC) is the campus and building complex hosting the United Nations Office at Vienna . As colloquially also known as UNO City, the VIC is only the one part of it. The other one is the Austria Center Vienna (ACV).
Rotunde
The Rotunde in Vienna was a building erected for the Weltausstellung 1873 Wien (the Vienna World Fair of 1873). The building was a partially covered circular steel construction, 84 m (approx. 275 ft) in height and 108 m (approx. 354 ft) in diameter. For almost one century (followed after its own destruction by an exhibition hall in Belgrade, 1957) it was the largest cupola construction in the world, larger than the Pantheon in Rome (diametre 43,4 m); built in 118–125.
Reichsbrücke
The Reichsbrücke (German for Empire Bridge) is Vienna's most famous bridge, linking Mexicoplatz in Leopoldstadt with the Donauinsel in Donaustadt on the other side of the Danube. It lies on an important axis leading from the city centre at Stephansplatz, through Praterstern, and on to Kagran in the north-east. The bridge carries six lanes of traffic, used by 50,000 vehicles daily, U-Bahn tracks, two footpaths and two cyclepaths.
Albert Schultz Eishalle
Albert Schultz Eishalle is an indoor sporting arena located in Vienna, Austria. The capacity of the arena, which was opened in January 1995, is 7,000 people. It had major renovations in 2010 and 2011, and has three rinks for hockey, figure skating, and public skating. It is currently home to the Vienna Capitals ice hockey team.
Donauzentrum
Donauzentrum (DZ) is a shopping mall in Vienna, Austria. It joins with the Donauplex (DX) which contains many restaurants, bars, cinemas and a few various shops. Donauzentrum opened in 1975, and the Donauplex joined it in 1999.
United Nations Office at Vienna
The United Nations Office in Vienna (UNOV) is one of the four major UN office sites where several different UN agencies have a joint presence. The office complex is located in Vienna, the capital of Austria, and is part of the Vienna International Centre, a cluster of several major international organizations. The UNOV was established on 1 January 1980, and was the third such office established.
Donau City Church
The Donau City Church, known more formally by its dedication as Christus, Hoffnung der Welt ("Christ, Hope of the World") is a Roman Catholic parish church in Vienna's 22nd district. The church is located next to the Vienna International Centre. Its architect is Heinz Tesar.

The Donau City (Donaucity), or Vienna DC, is a new part of Vienna's 22nd District Donaustadt (both literally meaning Danube City) - next to both the Reichsbruecke and the left bank of Danube's 21.1 km long diluvian bed, Neue Donau . Construction work for the first building on this site started in 1995.
Prater Liliputbahn
The Prater Liliputbahn is a 381 gauge light railway in Vienna, Austria. Opened in 1928, and extended in 1933, the railway operates primarily as a tourist attraction, but also providing transport links around the wider area of the Prater park, the amusement park, and the sports stadium. Although a year-round service was provided for many years, it is now more common for the railway to close during the months of December, January, and February.
Ferry-Dusika-Hallenstadion
The Ferry-Dusika-Hallenstadion is an indoor arena in Vienna, Austria. It was built in 1976, holds 7,700 spectators and is hosts indoor sporting events such as track cycling, tennis and athletics. It hosts an annual indoor track and field meeting – the Vienna Indoor Classic.
Webster University Geneva
Webster University Geneva is the Swiss campus of Webster University, and Webster's second biggest outside the United States. It was founded in 1978. It currently has about 600 students from over 90 nations enrolled in its bachelor's and master's programs. The degrees of Webster University Geneva are accredited in the United States (via the accreditation of Webster University in the state of Missouri) as are some in Switzerland.
New Danube
The New Danube is a side channel on the eastern side of the Danube in Vienna, Austria. It was created to provide flood relief by containing excess water. The Donauinsel (Danube Island), made out of the removed material, separates the new waterway from the main channel of the river. The project was referred to by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) as "the first truly multipurpose fully sustainable flood protection scheme.

The Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization, CTBTO Preparatory Commission or CTBTO Prep Com is an international organization based in Vienna, Austria that is tasked with preparing the activities of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO). The organization was established by the states that signed the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) in 1996 and will cease to exist upon the entry into force of the CTBT.
