Bratislava Castle

Bratislava Castle is the main castle of Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Vydrica (river)

Vydrica is a small 17 km long river in south-western Slovakia, which originates in the Little Carpathians mountains at about 450 m AMSL and flows into the Danube through the capital Bratislava. The river passes through the Bratislava Forest Park and enters the Danube in Karlova Ves borough. Some localities along the river are part of Natura 2000. It is one of few rivers in Slovakia to flow directly into the Danube.

Statue of Janko Kráľ

Statue of Janko Kráľ is located in the middle of Sad Janka Kráľa (literally Janko Kráľ Park/Garden) in the Petržalka borough in Bratislava, Slovakia. Janko Kráľ was one of the most significant and most radical Slovak romantic poets of the Ľudovít Štúr generation and a national revivalist. It is not exactly known how he looked, but several popular supposed pictures of him exist. One of them was used as a model for this statue from academic sculptor František Gibala. , in 1964.

House of the Good Shepherd

The House of the Good Shepherd (Slovak: Dom U dobrého pastiera) is a narrow, Rococo-style building in Bratislava, Slovakia, located in the Old Town below Bratislava Castle. It was built in 1760–1765 by notable Bratislava master-mason Matej (Matthäus) Hollrigl. The townhouse was constructed for a local merchant and the lower part of the building was used for commercial purposes, the upper part for living.

Slávičie údolie cemetery (Slovak: Cintorín Slávičie údolie, literally Nightingale Valley) is a cemetery in the Karlova Ves borough in Bratislava, Slovakia. The cemetery was originally built in 1912 for poorer inhabitants of Bratislava, and it was called "cemetery of the poor". During World War I soldiers were interred as well. The Church of Saint Family (Bratislava)

The Church of Saint Family is a Latin church in Petržalka, in the town district of Bratislava. It can seat 448. Construction began in July 2001 and the church was completed in 2003. The church is situated by the Chorvátske rameno, near the complex of buildings called the Technopol. St. Nicholas' Church, Bratislava

St. Nicholas' Church in Bratislava is an orthodox church situated on the castle hill next to the Bratislava Castle. The church was built in 1661 by Paul Pálffy‘s (1589–1655) widow Countess Frances, née Khuen (died 1672). It is an early baroque building built on the place of original Gothic church below the Bratislava Castle. The church is consecrated to St. Nicholas, the patron of sailors. His statue is situated in the stone niche above the main entrance to the church.
