Perth
Perth is the capital and largest city of the Australian state of Western Australia. It is the fourth most populous city in Australia, with an estimated population of 1.83 million living in the Perth metropolitan area. Part of the South West Land Division of Western Australia, the majority of the metropolitan area of Perth is located on the Swan Coastal Plain, a narrow strip between the Indian Ocean and the Darling Scarp, a low coastal escarpment.
Perth railway station
Perth Station including Perth Underground is the largest railway station in Perth, Western Australia, and functions as an interchange between the Transperth Trains Armadale / Thornlie, Fremantle, Joondalup, Mandurah and Midland railway lines, as well as the Transwa Australind.
Perth Trades Hall
The Perth Trades Hall is the Trades Hall building in Perth used by the Western Australian trade union movement for meetings, offices, social and educational events, and the location of the Trades and Labour Council (TLC), now known as the UnionsWA. Although a Trades and Labour Council (TLC) was established in Perth in 1891, finances to build a Trades Hall were not available until 1911, when Alick McCallum became General Secretary of the Australian Labour Federation, as the TLC was then called.

J S Battye Library
The J S Battye Library (more properly known as the J. S. Battye Library of West Australian History) is an arm of the State Library of Western Australia. It stores much of the state's historical records and original publications including books, newspapers, periodicals, maps, and ephemera, as well as oral history tapes, photographs and artworks, films and video, and non-government records which are kept in the library's Private Archives collection.
Barrack Street
Barrack Street is one of two major cross-streets in the central business district of Perth, Western Australia. Together with St Georges Terrace, Wellington Street and William Street it defines the boundary of the main shopping precinct of the central city. Barrack Street commences at Barrack Street Jetty, and the adjacent Barrack Square. Moving in an uphill direction away from the Swan River, it passes alongside the Supreme Court Gardens and the Stirling Gardens.
Horseshoe Bridge
The Horseshoe Bridge is a traffic bridge located in the central business district of the city of Perth, Western Australia. The bridge runs along William Street and crosses over the Fremantle to Perth railway line, at the western end of Perth Train Station. The area to the west of the bridge was previously a large siding area including good sheds and siding for rolling stock storage. In the past there were also businesses under the southern section, including book shops and record shops.
Perth Entertainment Centre
Perth Entertainment Centre (PEC) was an indoor arena and cinema complex, located in Wellington Street, in the city centre of Perth, Western Australia. It was demolished as part of the Perth City Link project in late 2011.
Perth Gaol
The Perth Gaol (often referred to as the Old Perth Gaol) was a gaol (jail) built in Perth, Western Australia between 1854 and 1856 to house convicts and other prisoners. It operated until March 1888 when the last prisoner was transferred to Fremantle Prison. The main gaol building, minus the yards, stands today adjacent to the Western Australian Museum in Northbridge, a suburb of Perth.
Jubilee Building
The Jubilee Building is part of the Western Australian Museum in Perth, Western Australia, Australia. Designed in the Victorian Byzantine style by George Temple-Poole and supervised by his 1895 successor John Harry Grainger, it was opened in 1899. The building was originally planned as a combined library, museum and art gallery to be sited in St Georges Terrace, Perth to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee in 1887.

The Alexander Library Building, in the Cultural Centre of Perth, Western Australia, houses the State Library of Western Australia, J S Battye Library, State Records Office, in the Perth Cultural Precinct in Northbridge in Perth, Western Australia. The building falls under the responsibility of the Western Australian government Department of Culture and Arts.
Hay Street, Perth
Hay Street is a major road through the CBD of Perth, Western Australia. The street was named after Robert William Hay, the Permanent Under Secretary for Colonies. Sections of the road were called Howick Street and Twiss Street until 1897. Orientated east-west, the road starts at the Causeway traveling west through the suburbs of East Perth, Perth, West Perth, and Subiaco, where the road originally terminated at Subiaco.

Wellington Street, Perth
Wellington Street is the northernmost of the four primary east-west streets in the central business district of Perth, Western Australia. It contains several of Perth's key facilities, including the new Harbour Town shopping development, the Wellington Street Bus Station and the Perth railway station, Royal Perth Hospital and Wellington Square, as well as the main offices of several government departments including the Western Australian Tourism Commission and Department of Housing.
Perth Cultural Centre
The Perth Cultural Centre is an area of central Perth, Western Australia and the collective name for the buildings of the Art Gallery of Western Australia, Western Australian Museum, Perth Gaol, Alexander Library, State Records Office, and Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA). William Street, Beaufort Street, Roe Street and Francis Street form the boundaries of the Cultural Centre.
Wesley Church, Perth
Wesley Church is at 75 William Street at its intersection with Hay Street in Perth, Western Australia. It is one of the oldest church buildings and one of few remaining 19th-century colonial buildings in the City of Perth.
Awesome Festival
The Awesome Festival (officially the Awesome International Arts Festival for Bright Young Things) is an arts event in Perth, Western Australia held each November since 1995. The participation and interaction of younger visitors is encouraged by street theatre, interactive art, dance workshops, film screenings and musical performances. It is organised and run by Awesome Arts Australia, a not-for-profit company based in Perth.
General Post Office, Perth
The General Post Office is a heritage landmark building in Perth, Western Australia. Located on the western side of Forrest Place in the city's central business district, its imposing stone facade is in the Beaux-Arts style. The building was completed in 1923 after almost a decade of construction, which was protracted by World War I and the resulting shortages of construction materials. At the time of its opening, it was the largest building in Perth.
Piccadilly Theatre and Arcade
The Piccadilly Cinema Centre (formerly Piccadilly Theatre) and Piccadilly Arcade are located at 700-704 Hay Street, Perth, Western Australia. It is an art deco style cinema and shopping arcade, designed by architect William T. Leighton for mining entrepreneur Claude de Bernales. The theatre and arcade opened in 1938, with the arcade connecting Hay Street through to Murray Street.
Perth Mosque
Perth Mosque, located in Perth, Western Australia is the oldest mosque in Perth. The mosque was designed and built in 1904 or 1905 by Fatteh Mohammad Dean, an immigrant from Punjab.

The Children's Court of Western Australia is a state court that hears cases involving children (aged 10 to 17 years) accused of committing criminal offences. It was originally called the Perth Children's Court when it was created in 1907 by the State Children's Act, but became known Children’s Court of Western Australia when the Children's Court of Western Australia Act 1988 was passed.
Russell Square, Perth
Russell Square in Perth, Western Australia is a large public space between Aberdeen Street, and James Street in Northbridge. It was named after Lord John Russell. The eastern boundary is on Parker Street, which is the location of the Saints Constantine and Helene Greek Orthodox Cathedral, and the Hellenic Community Centre. Shenton Street is the western boundary of the square.
