Ajana (also known as Barrel Well) is a small Aboriginal community in Western Australia. It is located on the Ajana Back Road, 531 kilometres north-west of Perth in the Mid West Region. The name Ajana is Aboriginal in origin and is thought either to be the Nanda name for the area or to be derived from a similar word meaning "mine".
