Southern Cross railway station
Southern Cross (formerly known as Spencer Street) is a major railway station and transport hub in Docklands, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is on Spencer Street, between Collins and La Trobe Streets, at the western edge of the central business district. The Etihad Stadium sports arena is 500 metres north-west of the station.

Batman's Hill
Batman's Hill in Melbourne, Australia was named for the Vandemonian adventurer and grazier John Batman. Now removed, the 18 metre high hill was located to the south of today's Collins Street and Southern Cross railway station, and is the site of a steel marker the same height as the original hill. The hill was settled by Batman and his family, who built a house at the base in April 1836, where he lived until his death in 1839.

Polly Woodside is a Belfast-built, three-masted, iron-hulled barque, preserved in Melbourne, Australia, and forming the central feature of the South Wharf precinct. The ship was originally built in Belfast by William J. Woodside and was launched in 1885. Polly Woodside is typical of thousands of smaller iron barques built in the last days of sail, intended for deep water trade around the world and designed to be operated as economically as possible.

The former Melbourne Maritime Museum, now Polly Woodside, managed by the National Trust of Australia, is situated in South Wharf on the Yarra River in the city of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is home to the Polly Woodside Barque, the now restored cargo vessel launched in 1885. The Polly Woodside vessel resides in an original wooden-walled dry dock. The dry dock was used for the repair and service of ships for over 100 years.
Market Street, Melbourne
Market Street is one of the north-south streets in the central business district of Melbourne, Australia, part of the Hoddle Grid laid out in 1837. Market Street is the only major deviation to the Hoddle Grid, in that it only runs between Flinders Street and Collins Street, such that its vista is terminated by the art-deco Temple Court building on Collins Street. South of Flinders Street, the roadway continues across the Yarra River via Queens Bridge.

It is made in a Victorian style of building with wood and red brick. In 2007/2008, it has undergone a refurbishment of the produce areas.

South Melbourne is a former railway station on the former St Kilda line, located in the Melbourne suburb of South Melbourne, Australia. The station is located on the corner of Ferrars street and Dorcas street, just minutes walk from South Melbourne Market. A pair of low level side platforms now serve route 96 trams on the light rail line.
Montague railway station
Montague was a railway station, now converted to light rail, on the former Port Melbourne railway line in the inner Melbourne suburb of South Melbourne, Australia. The station was located to the south of Montague Street road underpass, between Woodgate Street and Gladstone Lane, with a large goods shed located on the Melbourne side of the station. The station has since been demolished and is now served by route 109 trams stopping at a pair of low level platforms.
2007 Melbourne CBD shootings
The 2007 Melbourne CBD shooting was an incident that occurred in the Central Business District of Melbourne, Victoria on 18 June 2007. Three people were shot, one fatally, by Christopher Wayne Hudson, 31, a member of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, who opened fire on two men and a woman during an argument on the corner of William Street and Flinders Lane at about 8:20 am.
King Street Bridge (Melbourne)

Queens Bridge (Melbourne)
The Queens Bridge is a historic road bridge over the Yarra River in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The bridge was built in 1889 and has five wrought iron plate girder spans, and is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register. The bridge was built by contractor David Munro, and replaced a timber footbridge built in 1860. The bridge is a very flat arch, and has five spans constructed of wrought iron plate girders.
Charles Grimes Bridge
The Charles Grimes Bridge is a twin road bridge that carries the Docklands Highway over the Yarra River in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It was named after New South Wales surveyor general Charles Grimes, who was the first European to see the Yarra River. As originally constructed in the 1975 it ran north - south over the river, connecting Footscray Road to the West Gate Freeway and Montague Street.
Spencer Street Bridge
The Spencer Street Bridge is a road and tram bridge over the Yarra River in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It connects Spencer Street on the north bank with Clarendon Street on the south. During construction engineers knew deep foundations would be required to find bedrock, but at 20 metres below sea level they struck a red gum stump that took three weeks work to remove. It was dated at about 8,000 years old and appears to have lived for well over 400 years.
