Adelaide Oval
The Adelaide Oval is a sports ground in Adelaide, South Australia, located in the parklands between the city centre and North Adelaide. In the 21st Century it has been home to the cricket teams, the South Australian Redbacks and the Adelaide Strikers. It has been home to the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) since 1871.
River Torrens
The River Torrens /ˈtɒrənz/ is the most significant river of the Adelaide Plains and was one of the reasons for the siting of the city of Adelaide, capital of South Australia. It flows 85 kilometres from its source in the Adelaide Hills near Mount Pleasant, across the Adelaide Plains, past the city centre and empties into Gulf St Vincent between Henley Beach South and West Beach.

The Division of Adelaide is an Australian electoral division in South Australia. The division was one of the seven established when the former Division of South Australia was redistributed on 2 October 1903 and is named for the city of Adelaide, South Australia's capital. The seat has always been based in the inner suburbs of Adelaide.
Adelaide Gaol
Adelaide Gaol was an Australian prison located in Thebarton, South Australia, Australia. The gaol was the first permanent one in South Australia and operated from 1841 until 1988. The Gaol is one of the two oldest buildings still standing in South Australia, the other being Government House which was built at the same time. The prison is now a museum, tourist attraction and function centre.
Women's and Children's Hospital
The Women's and Children's Hospital is located on King William Road in North Adelaide, Australia. It is one of the major hospitals in Adelaide and is a teaching hospital of the University of Adelaide, the University of South Australia and Flinders University. It was created through the amalgamation of the Queen Victoria Hospital and Adelaide Children's Hospital in March 1989. The new (in name) hospital occupies the site of the former Adelaide Children's Hospital.
St Peter's Cathedral, Adelaide
St Peter's Cathedral is an Anglican cathedral in the South Australian capital of Adelaide. It is the seat of the archbishop of the Anglican Diocese of Adelaide. The cathedral is situated on approximately one acre (4,000 m²) of land at the corner of Pennington Terrace and King William Road in the suburb of North Adelaide.
Bonython Park
Bonython Park is a 17 hectare park in the West Parklands of the South Australian capital of Adelaide. It is the largest single park of the Parklands, and it is situated on north-western side of the River Torrens bordered by Port Road. It is in proximity to a par 3 golf course and the old Adelaide Gaol. The park hosts major events, including the Schützenfest German shooting festival, the former Skyshow fireworks display and music festivals including Soundwave, Stereosonic and We Love Sounds.

Fitzroy, South Australia
Fitzroy is an inner northern suburb of Adelaide 4 km from the Adelaide city centre, in the state of South Australia, Australia within the City of Prospect. It is adjacent to North Adelaide, Prospect, Ovingham and Thorngate. The post code for Fitzroy is 5082. It is bounded to the west by Cotton Street, to the south by Fitzroy Terrace, in the east by Prospect Road and the north by Avenue Road. Fitzroy is essentially a residential suburb, overlooking the North Adelaide Parklands.

Elder Park
Elder Park is a public open space in the city of Adelaide, South Australia on the southern bank of the River Torrens and that is bordered by the Adelaide Festival Centre and North Terrace. The park is named after the Elder family who were early settlers and developed the company Elder Smith (previously known as Goldsbrough Mort). The Elder Park Rotunda was erected in 1882. The Popeye boat is launched off the banks of the River Torrens, near Elder Park as well as paddleboats.
Montefiore Hill
Montefiore Hill is a small hill in North Adelaide, South Australia, named after Jacob Montefiore, a Jewish Colonising Commissioner who was a cousin of the British philanthropist, Moses Montefiore. It offers a vantage point over Adelaide Oval, Memorial Drive Tennis Courts, the northern sections of the Adelaide Parklands, and the Adelaide city centre.
Blackfriars Priory School
Blackfriars Priory School is a private Roman Catholic school situated in Prospect, a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia, conducted by the Dominican Friars of the Province of the Assumption. For over 50 years the school has provided an education program for boys from Year 3 to Year 12, however, in 2005 a junior primary (Reception to Year 2) section was introduced. Blackfriars opened in 1953 with 45 students and grew over the years to over 1000 students.
Brougham Place Uniting Church
Brougham Place Uniting Church is a church on Brougham Place, North Adelaide, South Australia. It was formerly the North Adelaide Congregational Church. Thomas Frost is attributed as the architect of the church and the foundation stone was laid on 15 May 1860. A tower was added in 1871 and a lecture hall in 1878. The pipe organ was built in 1881 at which time it was "the largest two manual organ in the colony", and restored in 1914.
Adelaide University Boat Club
The Adelaide University Boat Club is a rowing club affiliated with the University of Adelaide. The club was founded in 1881, and in 1896 helped to form the Adelaide University Sports Association. The main clubrooms, donated by Robert Barr Smith in 1909, are located on the north bank of the River Torrens on War Memorial Drive, adjacent to the Adelaide University Sports Grounds. The shed has two boat bays, a gym and weights room and a small bar.
Adelaide Festival Centre
The Adelaide Festival Centre, Australia's first multi-purpose arts centre, was built in 1973 and opened three months before the Sydney Opera House. The Festival Centre is located approximately 50 metres north of the corner of North Terrace and King William Street, lying near the banks of the River Torrens and adjacent to Elder Park.

Wellington Square, North Adelaide
Wellington Square is a public square in the Adelaide suburb of North Adelaide, South Australia. It is roughly at the centre of the largest of the three grids which comprise North Adelaide. The square was named on 23 May 1837 after Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington, British general and statesman, and victor at Waterloo, who is credited with securing the passage of the South Australia Foundation Act through the British House of Lords.
Memorial Drive Park
Memorial Drive Park, more generally referred to as "Memorial Drive", is a tennis venue, located adjacent to the Adelaide Oval, in the park lands surrounding the centre of Adelaide, South Australia. Memorial Drive took its name from the winding avenue, known as War Memorial Drive, which separates the venue from the River Torrens. The Memorial Drive Tennis club was established in 1914, under the name South Australian Lawn Tennis Club.
Calvary Hospital Adelaide Inc
Calvary Health Care Adelaide is one of Adelaide's oldest hospitals, having been established in 1900. It was founded by the Little Company of Mary Sisters, and features a large maternity wing. Calvary is a fully operational hospital, which currently has 153 beds. It also has an extensive Mary Potter Hospice and a comprehensive Cancer Centre. It is located on Strangways Terrace in North Adelaide, only two kilometres out of the CBD.
Adelaide Aquatic Centre
The Adelaide Aquatic Centre is a complex of indoor heated swimming pools operated by the Adelaide City Council and located in the northernmost extent of the Adelaide Parklands in North Adelaide. The centre opened on 20 December, 1969 and is now over 40 years old.

North Adelaide is a predominantly residential precinct of the City of Adelaide in South Australia, situated north of the River Torrens and within the Adelaide Park Lands.
Friends Meeting House, Adelaide
The Adelaide meeting house of the Religious Society of Friends is situated on Pennington Terrace, North Adelaide, literally in the shadow of St Peters Cathedral, on its west side. It is substantially made of timber, the only such church building in the City. Besides Sunday meetings, weddings and the like, it has also hosted secular meetings, particularly for peace, education, temperance and other social causes.
