Tomaree National Park
Tomaree is a national park in New South Wales, Australia, 145-155 km northeast of Sydney in the Port Stephens local government area. It is located on the shores of the Tasman Sea, extending north from Fishermans Bay to Shoal Bay passing through Boat Harbour, One Mile, Nelson Bay and Fingal Bay.

Bay FM 99.3 is a narrowcast FM radio station serving the Tomaree and Tilligerry Peninsulas of Port Stephens in New South Wales, Australia. The station's licence was granted on 29 April 1998 and it transmits from Gan Gan Hill in Nelson Bay. Originally broadcasting on 98.3MHz, the station's frequency was changed to 99.3MHz on 8 August 2003. Bay FM 99.3 is owned and managed by Geoff and Jean Brown.

It was named after Captain James Corlette who skippered the 63 tonnes cutter Lambton which was the first privately owned local vessel. The Corlette was first used to ship timber and wool out of Port Stephens in 1816.

The parks are positioned to provide quick access to the suburb's two beaches. One Mile Beach, after which the area was named, is a family-friendly surf beach that is popular with tourists while Samurai Beach is clothing optional.

The main population centre of the suburb is the village also known as Boat Harbour. Both lie adjacent to the bay after which they were named. From the easternmost end of Ocean Parade in highest part of the suburb, adjacent to the Tomaree National Park at Morna Point, there are striking views of the coastline.

It is immediately adjacent to the north-eastern end of Stockton Beach and the town provides one of the major entry points to the beach here. Anna Bay was named after the bay of the same name which is now located in the adjacent suburb of One Mile.

Tanilba Bay is a suburb of the Port Stephens local government area in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, Australia. It is located on the Tilligerry Peninsula adjacent to the bay from which it got its name. "Tanilba" is said to mean "place of white flowers" in a local Indigenous language, presumably a reference to the flannel flowers which formerly thrived in the area. At the 2011 census Tanilba Bay had a population of 2,921.

Agnes (1853)
The Agnes was a wooden carvel cutter built in 1853 in Sydney Harbour. It was lost at Newcastle Bight, New South Wales, on 13 July 1860, when it was blown ashore in a gale whilst travelling between Newcastle and Sydney. The ship master was Henry Hardy.

The Merksworth was an iron steamer screw built in 1874 at, Paisley, that was wrecked when it swamped whilst carrying coal between Newcastle and Sydney and was lost off Newcastle, Stockton Beach, New South Wales on 7 May 1898.
Worimi conservation lands
The Worimi conservation lands are located on and adjacent to Stockton Beach in New South Wales, Australia. They were created in February 2007 when Crown land at Stockton Bight was granted to the Worimi Local Aboriginal Land Council. The lands were then leased back to the NSW Government as three conservation reserves covering an area of 4,436 ha . Day to day management of the Worimi conservation lands is undertaken by the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
