Ynys Castell
Ynys Castell is a small island in the Menai Strait which separates Anglesey and mainland Wales. It is an extruding piece of Precambrian schist lying to one side of the Afon Cadnant estuary. It lies between Ynys y Bîg and Ynys Gaint. There is a causeway running to the island that is covered at high tide. On the island there is a private house. Ynys Castell means Castle Island in Welsh.
Ynys y Bîg
Ynys y Bîg is a small private island in the Menai Strait attached to the island of Anglesey by a short causeway. The causeway runs from the grounds of a private house, itself also called Ynys y Bîg, preventing any public access. The island lies about 1 mile north-east of the Menai Suspension Bridge. It is heavily wooded and in some years herons nest there in some numbers.
Afon Cadnant
The Afon Cadnant is a small river on Anglesey, North Wales draining to the Menai Strait about 1 km north-east of the Menai Suspension Bridge. The river drains a largely agricultural area from Llandegfan to Llansadwrn and beyond with feeder tributaries extending up towards Pentraeth forest. Within the catchment are some artificial fishing ponds and a number of beef and dairy farms.
Ynys Gaint
Ynys Gaint is a small island in the Menai Strait connected to the town of Menai Bridge on Anglesey by a causeway (which still exists today) and also a concrete bridge erected by Sir William Fison (a previous owner of the island) in the 1930s. Literally translated Ynys Gaint mean Kent Island. Ynys Gaint lies close to the Anglesey shore at OS reference SH561725, between Ynys Faelog and Ynys Castell.
Nantporth
Nantporth (known for sponsorship purposes as The Book People Stadium) is a football stadium on Holyhead Road in Bangor, Wales. Bangor City F.C. moved from their previous ground, Farrar Road, to Nantporth during January 2012. Previously the ground was used occasionally by Bangor University football and rugby clubs, as well as practical lectures by the University's 'Normal Site' campus, which is home to the Sports Science and Education faculties.

Coleg Menai is a further education college located in Bangor, Gwynedd, Wales. The college also has campuses in Llangefni and Caernarfon . The college provides a range of academic and vocational courses including A levels, Apprenticeships, ESOL programmes and Access courses. Bala-Bangor Theological Seminary
Bala-Bangor was a theological seminary belonging to the Welsh Independents, an association of Welsh congregationalists. It was founded in 1841 at Llanuwchllyn, then moved to a permanent location at Bala, Gwynedd in 1842 under the principalship of Michael Jones (1787–1853), who was followed by his son Michael D. Jones (1822–1898). During Michael D. Jones's principalship, a row broke out between two rival factions within Welsh congregationalism over the seminary's constitution - Michael D.
