Wuzhi Mountain Military Cemetery
The Wuzhi Mountain Military Cemetery (Chinese: 五指山國軍示範公墓, literally Wuzhi Mountain National Military Model Public Cemetery) is Taiwan's most prominent military cemetery. The cemetery is located on Wuzhi Mountain (五指山) in Xizhi, New Taipei City and borders Taipei City's Neihu District and Yangmingshan National Park. General Chiang Wei-kuo, the adopted son of Chiang Kai-shek, conceived and designed the cemetery.
Ruifang District
Ruifang District is a suburban district in eastern New Taipei City in northern Republic of China (Taiwan). Mining was an important industry in Ruifang in the early 20th century. Gold was mined in Jiufen (九份) and Jinguashi (金瓜石) while coal was mined in Houtong (猴硐). The mining sites became popular tourist destinations after 1990. Area: 70.73 km² Population: 41,690 people (Sep, 2012) In March 2012, it was named one of the Top 10 Small Tourist Towns by the Tourism Bureau of Taiwan.

Jiufen, also known as Jioufen or Chiufen, is a mountain area in the Ruifang District of New Taipei City near Keelung, Taiwan.
Yehliu
Yehliu is a cape on the north coast of Taiwan in the town of Wanli between Taipei and Keelung. The cape, known by geologists as the Yehliu Promontory, forms part of the Taliao Miocene Formation. It stretches approximately 1,700 meters into the ocean and was formed as geological forces pushed Datun Mountain (大屯山) out of the sea. A distinctive feature of the cape is the hoodoo stones that dot its surface.
Keelung Islet
Keelung Islet is a small island located 3.35 km northeast of the northern shore of Keelung, Taiwan and 4.9 km away from the Port of Keelung. It has an area of 23.91 ha . It is 910 m in length, and 410 m in width including the artificial harbor, the highest point is 182 m above sea level. In ancient times, the island was seen as a sacred place by locals. It was rumoured that a female ghost named Shih-Yun lived there, to mourn over her husband who died in a shipwreck hundreds of years ago.
Jinguashi
Jinguashi is a town in Ruifang District, New Taipei City, Taiwan, notable for its historic gold and copper mines. It is also known as Kinkaseki in Japanese. From 1942–1945 it was used by the Japanese as a prisoner-of-war camp. Although the minerals have since been depleted, the town still attracts many visitors to its Gold Ecological Park, which opened in October 2004. Jinguashi was named a potential World Heritage site in 2002. \t\t \t\t\tTaiwan 2009 JinGuaShi Historic Gold Mine FRD 8738.
Ōgon Shrine
The Ōgon Shrine also known as the Gold Temple or Spirits of the Mountain Shrine (山神社 yama jinja) is a Shinto shrine located halfway up a mountain at Siping Lane (四平街) in the Gold Ecological Park in Jinguashi, Rueifang District, New Taipei City, Taiwan Kinkaseki town at the time of Japanese rule was said to have been the number one gold mine town in Asia. The Ōgon Shrine was built and managed by the 日本鉱業株式会社 Nippon Mineral Company? (not sure the English name) on March 2, 1933.

Jingtong
Jingtong is a locale in Pingxi District, New Taipei City in northern Taiwan. Originally a coal mining town, today it is known mostly for tourism, with numerous souvenir shops and exhibits on the history of the area and the coal mining industry. Jingtong Railway Station was built by the Japanese in the 1930s. The town is a terminus of the Pingxi Line of the Taiwan Railway Administration.
Shifen waterfall
Shifen waterfall is a scenic waterfall located in Pingxi District, Taiwan, on the upper reaches of the Keelung River. The falls' total height is 20 meters (66 feet) and 40 meters in width, making it the broadest waterfall in Taiwan. It is a cascade waterfall in which the water flows in one direction and the rock is sloped in the opposite.

The Port of Keelung, also refers to Keelung Harbor, located in the vicinity of Keelung City, Taiwan. It is operated by Taiwan International Ports Corporation, the Taiwan's only state-owned harbor management company.

Xizhi District
Xizhi is an inner city district in New Taipei City in northern Taiwan. In the past, the Xizhi area was the Kypanas locality (峰仔峙社) of the Ketagalan Taiwanese aborigines. The old name in Chinese refers to the fact that the tide from the Keelung River stops at Xizhi and goes back to the sea. During the Japanese rule, the place name was changed to 汐止 (shiodome, literally "end of tides"), which is the source of the current name.
