This resident of Throtchi was in the Dogra army in 1947. He had enlisted in the Dogra army and was seconded to the British-Indian army. Throtchi Fort was the stronghold of Dogra troops from where they controlled the Sehnsa-Sariah valley. However, in 1947 the local rebels defeated the Dogra army and took possession of this fort.
