The Rugova Canyon (Albanian: Gryka e Rugovës; Serbian: Руговска клисура, Rugovska klisura) is a 25 km long canyon in Kosovo. It is located in the Prokletije close to the border with Montenegro. Bogićevica is a mountain area in the Prokletije. It spreads over Albania, Montenegro and Kosovo. It is about 15 km long and 10 km wide. The mountain area has a number of peaks higher than 2,000 m and two higher than 2,500 m . Marijaš and Maja e Ropës are both located in Kosovo. The towns of Dečani in Kosovo and Tropojë in Albania are located near the area. A part of Maja e Ropës mountains was declared a mountains flora reserve in 1955 covering an area of 25 h. In the same area the Kozhnjari area was declared a fauna reserve covering an area of 161 h especially because of the presence of chamois.

Medieval Monuments in Kosovo (Serbian: Средњовековни споменици на Косову и Метохији / Srednjovekovni spomenici nа Kosovu i Metohiji) is a World Heritage Site consisting of four Serbian Orthodox Christian churches and monasteries which represent the fusion of the eastern Orthodox Byzantine and the western Romanesque ecclesiastical architecture to form the Palaiologian Renaissance style. The sites are located in Kosovo, which Serbia considers to be its southern province, although it unilaterally declared independence in 2008. In 2004, UNESCO recognized the Dečani Monastery for its outstanding universal value. Two years later, the site of patrimony was extended as a serial nomination, to include three other religious monuments. Hence, the properly Medieval Monuments in Kosovo now consists of: Dečani Monastery Patriarchate of Peć Monastery Our Lady of Ljeviš Gračanica Monastery In 2006 the property was inscribed on the List of World Heritage in Danger due to difficulties in its management and conservation stemming from the region's political instability. \t\t \t\t\tVisoki Decani. Dog Peak is a mountain peak found in the border between Kosovo and Montenegro. It is 2,405 m high and is part of the Prokletije range. This peak is one of the highest of the Bogićevica mountain area. One of Dog Peaks neighbours is Marijaš at 2,533 m being the highest peak of Bogićevica.

The Patriarchate of Peć is a Serbian Orthodox monastery located near Peć, in Kosovo. The complex of churches is the spiritual seat and mausoleum of the Serbian archbishops and patriarchs. In 1947, the Patriarchate of Peć was added to Serbia's "Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance" list, and on 13 July 2006 it was placed on UNESCO's World Heritage List as an extension of the Visoki Dečani site which was overall placed on the List of World Heritage in Danger.

Peć is a city in north-western Kosovo, and the administrative centre of the homonymous district. The governor of the city is Ali Berisha. The Albanian name's definite form is Peja and the indefinite Pejë. Other names of the city include the Latin Pescium and Siparantum, the Greek Episkion (Επισκιον), the Ottoman Turkish ايپك (İpek), the Slavonic Petcha, and the formerly used form Pentza. In Serbian language Peć means furnace or cave and its name is probably connected with nearby caves in Rugova Canyon which served as hermit cells for orthodox monks. In mediaeval Ragusan documents, the Serbian name of the city (Peć, lit. "furnace") is sometimes translated as Forno, meaning furnace in Italian. The municipality covers an area of 602 km, including the city of Peć and 95 villages; it is divided into 28 territorial communities. As of 2011, the whole municipality has a population of approximately 95,723, of which ca. 60,000 live in the city of Peć.

Lake Plav is a lake in Plav municipality, in northeastern Montenegro. It is a glacial lake located between the Prokletije and Visitor mountain ranges at an altitude of 906 m above sea level, and extends north-south for some 2,160 m. Its average width is 920 m, and its maximum depth is nine meters. It is the largest and most beautiful lake in Plav, and is also the best known tourist attraction in the area. The area around the lake is ideal for trekking, hiking and mountain-biking and the lake itself is only one of a large number of mountain lakes that can be visited, whether it is for a quick swim or a relaxing picnic. The whole Plav region nestles at the foot of the towering Prokletije mountain range and rests on the banks of Lake Plav. The lake itself stretches from north to south for nearly a mile. The geology of Lake Plav and the surrounding lakes, streams and rock formations is very interesting. The lake itself is full of limestone caverns and there are many springs where water gushes forth from the earth.
