Portroe GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club in County Tipperary, Ireland. It plays Gaelic football and hurling. The club is located in the village of Portroe, eight miles outside Nenagh, North Tipperary. The club is affiliated with the North Division of Tipperary GAA.

Portroe (Irish: An Port Rua, meaning "the red port") is a village in North Tipperary, Ireland. The village is located on the R494 regional road about 3 km from the eastern shore of Lough Derg. It in the barony of Owney and Arra, It is also a parish in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Killaloe.
Fintan's Grave
Fintan's Grave is the name of a mythological cave on the Irish mountain (now hill) Tul Tuinde (Hill of the Wave) in the Arra Mountains near Lough Derg. Supposedly, Fintan mac Bóchra waited out the Flood here.
