Battle of Hemmingstedt
The Battle of Hemmingstedt took place on February 17, 1500 south of the village of Hemmingstedt, near the present village of Epenwöhrden, in the western part of present-day Schleswig-Holstein in Germany. It was an attempt by Frederick I of Denmark and John of Denmark, simultaneously Dukes of Schleswig and Holstein, to subdue the peasantry of Dithmarschen, who had established a peasants' republic on the coast of the North Sea. John was at the time also king of the Kalmar Union.

Hennstedt was an Amt Kirchspielslandgemeinde ("collective municipality") in the district Dithmarschen in Schleswig-Holstein, in northern Germany. Its administration was in the village Hennstedt. In January 2008, it was merged with the Ämter Lunden and Tellingstedt to form the Amt Eider.

In January 2008, it was merged with the Amt Eddelak-Sankt Michaelisdonn to form the Amt Burg-Sankt Michaelisdonn.

In January 2008, it was merged with the Amt Weddingstedt and the municipality Norderwöhrden to form the Amt Heider Umland.

The Treene is a river, 73 km long, in the north of Schleswig-Holstein. It is a right-bank tributary of the Eider River. It starts in northern Angeln, southeast of Flensburg, and flows mainly south-south-west before joining the Eider near Friedrichstadt.

Katinger Watt
The Katinger Watt is a nature reserve in the south of the Eiderstedt peninsula in the north German state of Schleswig-Holstein which is run by the German Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union, NABU. Once a region of mudflats in the estuary of the river Eider, it was drained as part of land reclamation activity and protected from flooding by the Eider Barrage. Today a third of it is farmed, the rest is a mix of woodland and bodies of water.
Dithmarscher Eiderwatt
The Dithmarscher Eiderwatt, officially the Dithmarscher Eidervorland mit Watt ("Dittmarschen Eider Foreland and Watt"), is a nature reserve in the district of Dithmarschen in the north German state of Schleswig-Holstein. The site has an area of 620 hectares which consists of the mudflats on the tidal current of the river Eider. It is run by the German Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union, NABU.
Husum (Germany) station
Husum station is in Husum in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. It was built in 1910 and is currently operated by Deutsche Bahn, which classifies it as a category 3 station.
