Langley Park (Western Australia)
Langley Park is an open space in the central business district of Perth, Western Australia. Running alongside Riverside Drive, it is grassed, rectangular in shape and has dimensions 900 x 100 m (3000 x 300 ft). It was created by reclaiming land from the adjacent Swan River between 1921 and 1935, to provide open space near the city. As a pioneer of civil aviation in Western Australia, Major Norman Brearley used the park as an airstrip in the 1920s.

The Playhouse Theatre (Perth)
The Playhouse Theatre in central Perth, Western Australia was purpose-built for live theatre in the 1950s and remained one of the city's principle venues for performing arts for over half a century until replaced by the State Theatre Centre of Western Australia in January 2011. It was demolished in October 2012 as part of a redevelopment of the St George's Cathedral precinct.
St Mary's Cathedral, Perth
St Mary's Cathedral, Perth, officially the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Perth, and seat of its Archbishop, currently Timothy Costelloe. The cathedral is at the centre of Victoria Square, on the peak of a hill in East Perth, Western Australia. The cathedral as it now stands was constructed in three main phases, with the first phase completed in 1865.
Mercedes College, Perth
Mercedes College is a private, all girls' high school located in the CBD of Perth, Western Australia. The school was founded in 1846 by the Sisters of Mercy, thus making it the oldest independent Catholic girls' school in Australia, and the oldest existing secondary school in Perth. There are currently 800 students attending the college and the current principal is Sheena Barber. The name Mercedes comes from the Spanish word for mercy.

Adelaide Terrace, Perth, is an easterly extension of, the main street in the city of Perth, Western Australia, St Georges Terrace . It runs parallel to the Swan River and is a major arterial road through the central business district. Christian Brothers' College, Perth
Christian Brothers College, informally known as CBC Perth or The Terrace was an Independent school for boys situated on St Georges Terrace in the centre of Perth, Western Australia. The college opened in January 1894, and the college was a founding member of the Public Schools Association in 1905. The college was the second high school (1894) and the second boarding school (1896) in Western Australia.
East Perth Cemeteries
East Perth Cemeteries is a now disused complex of seven independently administered cemeteries in East Perth, Western Australia. It is estimated that as many as 10,000 people were buried there between 1830 and 1919; however, only around 800 gravesites have been identified. A large section of the original site has since been built over, leaving about 5 hectares (12.5 acres) remaining and commonly referred to as the East Perth Cemetery.

Swan River Mechanics' Institute
Established in 1851, the Swan River Mechanics' Institute was the Swan River Colony's first cultural centre and housed an extensive and well-used subscription library and a natural history collection including botanical, zoological and mineral specimens. In 1909 it was renamed Perth Literary Institute. The institute was located on the South-West corner of Pier and Hay Streets in Perth. Its founding president was Surveyor-General John Septimus Roe who held the position until his death in 1878.
Children's Court of Western Australia
The Children's Court of Western Australia is a state court that hears cases involving children (aged 10 to 17 years) accused of committing criminal offences. It was originally called the Perth Children's Court when it was created in 1907 by the State Children's Act, but became known Children’s Court of Western Australia when the Children's Court of Western Australia Act 1988 was passed.
Claise Brook
Claise Brook is a stream which empties into Claisebrook Cove before running into the Swan River in Perth, Western Australia. The area surrounding the stream is on the outskirts of the Perth CBD and is part of the suburb of East Perth. Claise Brook was once an important water course from which the numerous interconnected fresh water lakes north of Perth emptied into during the wet season before entering the Swan River.
Queens Gardens, Perth
Queens Gardens, Perth, is a 3.3 hectare park located on a former brickworks and clay pit site in the eastern end of the Perth, Western Australia Central Business District (CBD). The park is bounded by Hay Street to the south, Plain Street to the west, Nelson Crescent to the north and Hale Street to the east. The site of Queen's Gardens was initially part of the commonage which was used for recreation purposes including horse racing and later as a clay pit and brickworks.
